Although I'm relatively new to astronomy, I was very impressed with this eyepiece.I own a basic refractor with an aperture of 2.75" & the 9mm ultra wide worked really well with it, offering me a combined field of view similar to that of the stock 20mm eyepiece (possibly greater) and a marginally higher magnification than the 10mm supplied with the telescope.Upon first glance it feels quite weighty and of good quality, and for the price I have no complaints. The eye relief is very forgiving and if you're after an eyepiece which offers a healthy balance of magnification & field of view without the one cancelling out the other, for the outlay this one is pretty good.

I use this eyepiece on my Orion XT8 and I'm very glad I had the hindsight to order it. I like the clarity - it zooms more than my kit 25mm but still sharp enough to view Jupiter and Saturn from the city. My other eyepiece is a 6mm from Svbony and while it's definitely nice for watching the Moon craters, it's not as good for rest of planets as the 15mm is for my viewing conditions. I really like the pricing, metal finish and relatively fast delivery.

Bought two of these for my binoviewers and they perform really well with good clarity. I would recommend them for the money particularly buying two as I really can't see how expensive ones would perform that much better and I use Baader.

Seeing an eye piece for a fraction of what a big manufacturer's ones cost always makes me worry. I needn't have though - nice and clear and little (to my untrained eye) distortion.I'll certainly buy more Svbony kit in future
