I bought this kit to fill a fairly large chip in the edge of my granite countertop, which has a lot of black and gray in it. I started by scooping out a little of each of the A and B resin components onto a piece of aluminum foil, keeping them separate, and adding a tiny bit of the black pigment to each to achieve a color matching the region of the chip. Then I thoroughly mixed them together (about 1 minute or so). I applied the mixture to fill the chip, overfilling it slightly. Then I used the included plastic tool to level the resin with the countertop surfaces. After waiting 24 hours, I used the included sandpapers to smooth the resin. The result was pretty impressive. It was hard to tell that a repair had been done. You wouldn’t spot it if you didn’t know it was there. I learned a few things in the process. Try to minimize how much resin gets onto the undamaged surfaces of the countertop because sanding it down takes quite a bit of time and can lead to over-sanding the resin where you want it to stay flush with the surface. The quality of the results depends a lot on how well the resin color blends with the countertop. You can get fancy if you like and try mixing two different resin colors, matching two colors in the granite, and create a flecked 2-tone filler. It’s limited only by your imagination. I’m quite satisfied with this product. The results are well worth what I spent.

Works well and dries quickly. Dropping one star as it’s tricky matching colors exactly without experience, but did a nice job filling in cracks on my kitchen counter. Recommend.

I was skeptical that I could do this on my marble counters and get the correct effect, but the instructions were really good. You can mix really small amounts and play with the color before you attempt. I did small batches and built up the materials in some of the larger chips. I let it dry overnight if the chip was large. The material was hard enough to sand and so you could really build it up which helps with giving it multi-dimension. They have pretty much all the colors you need to match almost any colors. The materials has held up for several months now. I would definitely buy this again.

A little basic, and somewhat difficult to use, but for the job done. Dried fairly quickly.

This came in a small box, but it had a big impact on my project. I would caution to be careful with the colors. I wanted a light gray, and only tapped the black with the pick to add it to my mixture, and it came out extremely dark. I had to make a second batch to get the color right. Other than my own mistake, this stuff has worked like a charm. I'm polishing the marble and the filler is staying in place, and acting just like the surrounding marble surface, as I continue to up the polishing grit. I recommend this repair kit for antique marble tops, as well as the other surfaces listed in the description.

Easy color match, good product

Extremely difficult to match colors noted in description. Even the slightest amount of dye makes dramatic changes. Also no marking on the color dyes and difficult to figure out which was which. Virtually impossible to get a simple beige

Really easy to use. Use 1500 grit sand paper to smooth out and polish the repaired area. Difficult to match counter tops with metal flake or specs but lots of color choice with tint cups supplied.

So impressed with this product. Allowed me to do a great colour match and fill of a large chunk of missing marble vanity. Worked extremely well.
