So basically I got tired of picking up all the ends I just miss when throwing into the average table top ashtray, (we smoke outside) looked about but all really expensive. Saw this and thought I’d give it a go. And it’s actually decent. It’s not to shallow on the cig bit so won’t be constantly emptying it. It’s all metal so no fear of it being set alight. It’s got cig edges to put them on like in pubs, and also a bin below. Came already together aswell which is ALWAYS a massive bonus😂. It’s about breakfast bar stool height for those like me that Cba to measure or don’t know what the numbers mean. And it doesn’t look/feel tacky either. I’ll probably fill the bin bit with a few stones so if it’s windy it doesn’t fall down as I use it outside so won’t need the bin as such, but it’s a good peice to have either inside the home or out. Doesn’t take up a lot of room either. Perfect size tbh. Probably one of the best things I’ve bought off Amazon for its price. You don’t need to put them out they go out themselves in the top and there’s no way that it can fall into the bottom either. Came on time. In a box with plastic bags and the white stuff that protects glass etc, can’t remember what that’s called, so it was undamged, so again good packing too.

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to for this. At first it seems ok. It does the job but literally within a day the black rubber had come away from the opening of the bin and the metal underneath sliced my finger in a clean sharp cut. It looks much better than it actually is. Very cheaply made. I put a little water in the bottom part to add some weight to it otherwise it would easily blow over in even a light wind. However that didn’t work as it all just leaked straight out of the bottom. Safe to say wasn’t worth the price paid. Very cheap. And ended up in the bin!

Arrived promptly, quality is much better then hoped for and helping keep butts under control.
