A fantastic little red monster ... for metal.
I use this in conjunction with my Line 6 Helix. I run my DI to FOH though I still liked to have a cab on stage as I feel it's important for front row to still get the sound as well as the fact I like the feel. The benefit of going digital is a smaller footprint so I didn't want to invest in a rack mounted power amp or anything to bulky like the Seymour Duncan power stage. Knowing I could return this if it didn't work, I took a shot and oh my days, it's fantastic. Both myself and the other guitarist use it in my band power our cabs with the baby bomb and it's not even past 9 o'clock before it's giving off a a huge sound. It's clean as well, I don't find it colours my tone, especially not in a noticeable way for gigging though, I do play high gain metal. If you play smaller clubs and venues, especially for the reasons I bought it, you'll be more than happy.

Buy it, you won't regret it!
Wow, this thing is amazing! After years of lugging around heavy amps and gear I decided to shrink all my gear down to pedal size so my amp now lives on my pedal board. I did a lot of research into micro amps and decided on this (paired with the mooer 005) the first time I turned up at practice and powered this baby up I was truly shocked as to how loud this thing is. It easy keeps up with the rest of the band with it on the 9 o'clock position. I've not really had to take it up more then that, it's that loud. I've now gigged with it loads and it's got way more power then I've needed. I'm pretty sure it's more than 30watt. I've played 100watt ss amps that arnt as loud as this thing. With the mooer pre amp it sounds just as good as my 6505. Best decision I've made regarding amps.
