Just as good as the name brand for a lot less. Fits and works perfect in our Hotsprings hottub.

I've been using this kind of device since I bought my hot tub 15 years ago. I'm hopeful they do something, but have no way to validate the claims they make. I figure it's a small cost for a potential benefit.

Do not use this for Watkins Hot Springs Hot tubs. The packaging all looks like it's correct, and the size when compared to my old ones, but when you attach the top cover on the unit and drop it into the sand pipe, it falls down into it. It doesn't sit on stop of the pipe like others I've purchased. I spent more than 30 minutes trying to get it out of the pipe. I finally did using a suction cup but took multiple attempts. You have to attach the extension rod to keep it above the top of the sand pipe, and then the cap that came with the box won't stay attached. I used my old cap but it sits up higher so now the cap that holds the filter in place won't secure all the way. The best I can determine is the cap that attaches to the filter unit isn't as wide on the undersides as the original design allowing it to slide into the pipe. It also only comes with two caps, not 3.

I have used these sticks for years. No problems!

I keep an extra supply and went to use this new box and only one had the appropriate cap. I have ordered before but won't again. Very disappointed and frustrated. My time to return it has expired, I trusted it would be okay.

One of the 3 products was missing the lip which holds it up inside the tub. It fell down inside the tube and we spent an hour trying to get it out. Tried to use the lip from the old one but they are too hard to get apart (plus risk of chemicals). VERY disappointed in this vendor.

These fell down the pipe of my swimspa! Also no wings attached like other photos
