bought this to test small toys that may not be suitable for a small child

Worried about our grandson putting things in his mouth as he reached the age of 2, and we thought this was something he had stopped doing but hadn't, I bought this so that I could be sure what toys were suitable size-wise, as the guidlines on some items are unclear. I was quite shocked when I got this to discover just how large an item can be and still get down a child's throat! A really useful tool to give you visual feedback of what size toys and household items you need to keep out of reach when you have been out of the child-watching arena for some years!

I ordered this for a child safety event in work. It was very useful to be able to show the parents that so many items can fit in the tube and potentially choke a young child.

Does what it says

This product replicates the throat size of a child under 36 months. If an item or toy fits wholly inside it then it has the potential to choke a young child. Helpful to have it round the house and although its not calibrated it would help any parent. Easy to use and made of solid plastic.
