This air fryer is PERFECT for me! I have about 5 others, and this one will be the only one I use from now on. I never would do a steak in my others and preferred them cooked on the grill. That has changed. I may not even refill my propane tanks this year. I also love that I can do a final sear on my steak. If I want a darker crust, I just blast it on air fry mode at 450 degrees for 2 minutes. You can turn on the light to check on food without opening the drawer. The light turns back off automatically! With the temp probe, you can cook items to your exact preference. It has many preset temps for different meats, but you can still tweak them if you want a different temp setting, and it will save that in the preset buttons for the next time. I'm used to a 6 qt, but the 5.5 qt is adequate for me, since it does a superior job on my steaks. I can fit 1 big, or 2 smaller ribeye steaks. I mostly eat steak, but chicken and pork come out wonderful and moist. I'm looking forward to using the other functions in the future. It isn't very loud and it's a breeze to clean with the ceramic coating. It's more money than others, but I think the ceramic coating and temp probe make it worth the extra cost. By the way, the temp probe is right on with my Thermapen ONE. It works with Wi-Fi, but it won't work with a Hotspot. Because of all the presets, it doesn't really matter to me, but I thought I'd mention it. I just got a new oven, but I don't think I'll be using it much now!

I haven't used this a lot, but it works well so far. I did two salmon steaks in it with a glaze of olive oil, dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. I ran it for 10 minutes at 400 degrees and they came out absolutely perfect. There was a nice amount of searing, and the internal temp was right at 145 degrees. I used a parchment liner in the basket, so cleanup literally took 1 minute. Two thumbs up!

This thing is the best air fryer on the market. I call it my "steak machine" as that is most often what I use it for. I plug in the thermometer and chose the option that most closely resembles the piece of meat I am cooking.. and set it up... even if I forget it for a few extra min.. steak just sits there resting... perfect steak every time!!!! not over done or shoe leather cause I got busy or guessed the wrong time. It seems like a small thing but it is a game changer if you are looking to increase protein in your diet!! I put a paper liner under the rack and bottom plate and its a breeze to clean too! When I got it as a gift i was ambivalent. I thought to myself.. I already have a nice air fryer.... until I USED IT FOR STEAK!

So far we love our Tastee Airfryer. Pros..Ceramic...we don't even use oil, food doesn't stick and cleaning is so easy. It's not bulky..very suitable for a small kitchen and family. Love the see through clear window. Cons...Smaller than expected. Wish that the placement of the control panel was easier to see...

I've used this for a month now and I really like it. Thermometer works great, perfect accessory for a air fryer. Auto settings eliminated guess work on how long to cook for desired doneness. Signals when to turn meat over. Controls are very straight-forward and easy to understand. I use liners, which helps keep clean up to a minimum. Cook cycle starts (heats up), then fan starts to complete the cooking process. Noise (fan) is not that loud. Easily stores away, not heavy at all. Overall very pleased with the design and multiple functions.

I bought this air fryer at the recommendation of steak & butter girl. The touch controls are nice but I felt the sub menus to be confusing at first. The screen was WAY too small and frustrating for me to read as a shorter person. I felt using the probe under-cooked my meats. I will say the ceramic coating on the trivet & basket is a nice touch and aside from that seems well made. It did smell slightly plasticity while cooking food. Also, the phone app was a little glitchy to me and I didn’t find it super helpful, even entering bacon returned a combination eggs, bacon and toast. So I will be returning it. Updated on 5/19/25 After retuning the original unit the sellers reached out to me and offered to send me one to please try again. I will say this was outstanding customer service! I had another air fryer I used after retuning the original Tastee and I must say this Tastee unit turned out to be far superior! Pros: Fast cook time (higher heat) Beautiful ceramic basket and trivet (easy to clean) Far less odors when cooking The trivet feet are more secure (I lost 2 trivet feet on another fryer within 2 weeks of use and they would not replace) Probe helps with accuracy of cook time and auto ends to prevent over cooking. (I compared to my meater thermometer and they ended up pretty close) Cons: I feel the window for the settings is too small and hard to read sometimes, especially if you’re short. I think they could improve in their app. For example, I would love to just press a couple buttons and cook some bacon and have it remember it. All in all this air fryer is well made and with fantastic customer service which went above and beyond! Updated to 5 stars!

It costs more than some others, but the ceramic interior and temperature probe make it absolutely worth the price. The probe is impressively accurate—right in line with my Thermapen ONE. We eat carnivore-style in our household and usually grill daily, but when my partner is out of town or Florida weather brings heavy rain, this air fryer is a lifesaver. Burgers and steaks come out perfectly medium-rare, and it even tells you when to flip the meat. Foolproof and consistent results every time. Cleanup is effortless. I add water right after cooking, give it a quick brush, and put it in the dishwasher. The temperature probe is also easy to clean and stores neatly in its designated spot. Now for the part that truly impressed me: I accidentally melted the temperature probe by storing it inside the TASTEE. Completely my fault. I tried to find a replacement probe here in Canada but couldn’t. Since I can’t call the U.S., I contacted the company by email—and they were absolutely fantastic. Even though the mistake was mine, they sent me a replacement probe anyway. That is the kind of customer service you rarely see anymore. This is a company that truly cares about its customers. Warning to those buying this item from the UK, stupidly I assumed as the item was eligible for sale and shipping to the uk it would have a UK plug, sadly this was not the case. I am retuning and requested a full refund.
