Great for karaoke.
I've just used these for karaoke in the pub and they were perfect.Plugged through the previous bands PA system they sounded great. No distortion or crackling. They actually sounded a lot better than expected.Very surprised and happy for £28.

Great quality for the price
I picked up these Cable Matters mics for my son to use for a basic setup when recording vocals and acoustic guitar. Plugged into an amp (then mixed into a laptop) this has worked great. To my ears - the audio quality is very good, quite 'crisp' and 'airy' - condenser microphones these aren't. For our purpose for a basic recording set up these are absolutely fine. I do think they are primary meant for karaoke machines etc and I'm sure they would be fine there.Construction quality seems very good too - should survive the occasional drop (don't recommend it though!). All in all a good value package.

Does the job perfectly
This twin pack of microphones arrives in a easy to recycle cardboard box. Made from metal these have an excellent build quality, something that's very sturdy and durable. Indeed these microphones have a real heft and weight to them, so solid these are not the kinda things you'd want to accidentally drop on your foot! You also get two very well made, very long cables, perfect if you like posing when Karaoking. Cables that, like the microphone, just feels right. Even down to the satisfying mechnical clunk when you insert the 3.5 plug into your amp.Though the best bit is undoubtedly the recording quality, especially when singing. With these the sound is crisp and clear. I'm no expert, but to me the sound is just as good as with really expensive kit.So good that I wished these would work with my PC, though they don't because they need something to amplify the input, like an amp or karaoke machine. But that's fair enough.Overall ? If you want a solid durable microphone that delivers decent sound quality, for a very reasonable price, these won't let you down.

Surprisingly good for the money
Terrific value for money.Look like much more expensive microphones and have a good weight to them.I put mine through an interface [Scarlett] for recording vocals. Work quite well.Good long cables too and plenty on length to put mic on stand.Look good too in black finish.Quality of sound is absolutely fine for most applications.Would buy again.
