My granddaughter has one of these that was actually her mom's from the '70's but she would let me borrow it. After an online search I found this one. I'm growing out a pixie and have very thick wavy hair, which is driving me nuts during this in-between time. So during the quarantine, this is the answer to containing my crazy hair. Other hairbands slipped and lid and pinched. This one doesn't. I do try to avoid items from "overseas", and this did take several weeks to arrive, but the price was good and it works for me.

Very loose after a couple of wearing. I suppose they stretch - but what holds it in place I think is that the headband tangles with your hair...especially with wavy or curly hair.

It looks more like a child's headband than for an adult. Smaller than expected.

It does exactly what I bought it for, keeps my hair and bangs back without smashing them down and leaving creases. I only give 4 stars because the ends are like springs, and my hair gets caught in them. Can easily glue some fabric over that though to resolve the issue
