I wish I hadn't already bought this so I could BUY IT AGAIN.I've had countless sprayers over the years and they all fail. THEY ALL FAIL. It's like having an attraction to strippers or (if you're a girl) Wall Street finance douchebags. It's never gonna work out. Then you meet a genuine, giving, open-hearted, truthful woman (or man, or transgendered person, no judgement), and you realize what you've been doing wrong all these years, and you burst into tears.That's what being with this nozzle is like. I could go on and on about it's all-metal-internal construction, etc., etc., but take my word for it, as someone who's been with lots of nozzles. (Not bragging, but….) They'll dazzle you with multiple spray patterns and pretty colors and superficial nonsense, but they are EMPTY inside, EMPTY, and they will abandon you, and it will be messy -- you'll be hit in the face, your shoes will get soaked, and you will be VERY, VERY upset, and hurt.So friend, ignore those flashy sprayers with their hollow attractions, and commit to this Hose Nozzle. She may be plain, but she has more substance than all those other sprayers combined. You will age together, and each day she doesn't leak or squirt you in the face with an errant blast, you will respect her more; your love will deepen, until at last you feel the bone-deep satisfaction of having found THE PERFECT HOSE NOZZLE.

I got to experience the nozzle as it must have been meant to be made for - FIRE. Two days after receiving my nozzle I had a roofing contractor at my home putting on a 'torchdown' on a 20X20 one story shed attached to my house. They took the propane and hose with torch to the roof and started the torchdown. The hose from the propane tank split and the fire was shooting out of the tank and hose from the middle of the roof. The fire was too intense to grab the propane tank and thrown it to the ground so we grabbed my garden hose with the Jet2Spray nozzle already on it. Standing from a chair the guys directed the powerful spray to the tank and held the water on the tank until the fire department got there. The tank remained cool enough so the fire did not flashback to the tank. It eventually burned itself out of propane and then was able to be removed from the roof. The firemen said that we did the right thing keeping the bottom of the tank cool so it would not explode. My previous spray nozzle would not have had the power nor the reach to the tank. I purchased this hose nozzle after reading the excellent reviews but I am somewhat disappointed. It is a well made product and would be useful in certain situations but it just didn't fit my needs. It is very difficult for me to change the settings and frequently I am left with twisting back and forth in an attempt to switch settings and as a result I spray precious water on myself and other sites that I don't want watered. I use it for watering outside plants but I realize after using it for a few months, it is designed for other chores such as washing cars or cleaning outside surfaces. It seems to be very useful if high pressure is needed but I think I'll switch to my old revolver spray nozzles. I particularly don't like the feature whereby I cannot stop the flow of water while changing the spray pattern. Part of the product description is ....."Fireman hose design means no strain on your hand and wrist" but if you are elderly and have arthritis, this just isn't accurate. Be forewarned, this is not an easy nozzle to use for us old folks.

I just purchased this because we have a similar one at work and I was very surprised by how well it worked. I had to ask if we were connected to a hi pressure water line because the water came out so much harder and higher volume than a standard nozzle I had at home. I was told we had regular "city" water, so bought this one for my home. It does take a little getting used to as when you first turn it on and slowly twist the end open, it's on the high setting. I blasted one of my wife's poor plants (it'll live). I just had to give it 3-4 more turns and it changed to it's lowest setting, like a high-volume soaker which fans the water out in a 1 foot diameter. This allowed me to water her plants literally right in the pot and probably less than half the time. On it's other setting it shoots water a good 20-25', that's definitely further than my regular nozzle. There are 5-6 settings in general, and the build quality is very solid you can tell.

Great high pressure with a range of spray settings. Unfortunate that there is no "hard off" switch or button as you need to remember the direction the nozzle needs to be turned and do so quickly ever single time you need a quick shutoff. No on's and off's with this nozzle in other words which means it's best suited for using the high pressure for extended periods of time such as spraying a driveway.Nice soft clunk when the nozzle hits hard pavement due to the protection around the actual nozzle. Very nicely made and high quality.Great for watering plants, not so great for a quick spray down of your vacuum canister.

Finally, a hose nozzle that sprays where I want it too and doesn't leave me soaking wet. This is a effective, high quality nozzle that sprays with both a high intensity jet for cleaning and washing, and can easily be turned to a light spray for watering plants and flowers. I love that the nozzle does not rely on a trigger handle that needs to be held down for use. The spray adjuster on the nozzle is smooth and easy to rotate and, when turned all the way, shuts off the water completely. There is no excess water or leakage that drips out when it is turned off. It is also a handsome and sturdy piece that is comfortable to hold, screws easily on to the hose, and rests nicely on the hose reel when tucked away. I highly recommend!
