Unhappy recieved fish food already expired as of September 2016

Enormous amount of fish food for the money spent!! I ordered the wrong size, but my bigger fish don't seem to mind the tiny pellets so it's all good! I feel comfortable trusting they are getting the diet they need to live well (mbuna cichlids are what I have.) The small pellets actually float around much longer in the strong currents of the tank, so the fish have more time to snag them before they get lost in the rocks. I have some unexpected fry in the tank too, and these are so small that I suspect the fry will be eating them soon too! So glad that I made that mistake.

So tiny that my fish don't even notice it when it goes in. Smaller than the smallest Hikari food. I'm not sure what application this would be useful in. Maybe they will find it if I soak it first so it swells up.

Amazon provides great value for my now favorite tropheus food. I find it doesn’t cause the water to pollute easily and it has the least fillers of any fish food I have used in a long time.

Sink like a rock, way too much waste in the gravel before my fish can eat them.
