Best Bareback Pad!!
I love this bareback pad! I’ve tried them all and this one by far is the best! I did have to replace the cinch for a neoprene so it did shift around on my tomato shaped quarter Horse lol

Needs improvement
Nice looking, pretty comfortable after you find someone to stitch sides down so they don't curl up on you( glued down). For the money though they need to step up there game and make some improvements.

Great for LOW to MUTTON withers only.
I've read the other reviews...and have to say that I had a completely different experience.I bought this pad at a local tack shop and right out of the plastic bag it came in...wow. I loved it.I rode in it for up to 2 hours on the trail (up and down hills, etc)... and it was just so comfortable and I never saw any issue from the horse either.PROS:it is suede and you do stick well to the seatmine was well made. nothing came apart. I rode it until I wore it out (gel will wear out)there was no slipping even while riding on hills up and downI didn't get any complaints from the horseCONS:price is a bit high for a bareback pad, but it was worth it.ALL THAT SAID....This pad is BEST for LOW to MUTTON WITHER HORSES. (mutton means the horse barely has a wither, is more barrel shaped). This pad is NOT for high withered horses, horses with very boney backs....I rode on round low withered horses only with this pad because it just doesn't have the spine clearance or wither cut back for high withered or "shark finned" or boney backed horses. If you have a boney backed horse or a high withered horse, then find a bareback pad like the Thinline pad that has enough cushion for your butt and for the horse's back. Those are great as they are cut back and they are Thinline so you know your horse will have comfort.I have one of those too and it's very comfortable.

Poor quality
I ordered one of these pads from a large equine distributor. I won't mention their name because a dozen distributors carry this product and the quality is not their fault. When it arrived, not only was the black "suede" part not very sturdy looking, it looked as though you could get a tear in it very easily, BUT, the brown leather is GLUED ON the black suede! There is one row of stitching on top of the black leather, the wavy part, but the rest is all just glue and it came apart as soon as I took it out of the box. I contacted the distributor who told me that they have heard the same problem from other people. (But still ship the product) which leaves us out our money until they pick it up and decide to credit our credit card. I contacted Weaver Leather who supposedly makes this item and asked why they used glue instead of stitching it all, but got no response. I think you will be very disappointed if you order one...not at all as classy as the picture.
