Big & Well Made
Wow! This is a lot bigger than I thought it was from the photo. This is very well made, and sturdy for being made from cardboard. I have two cats, and they like laying on it and playing on it, but they haven't taken to scratching on it yet. My cats are about 11 pounds, and, while they could fit in the holes, it's a bit of a squeeze, so they're not really for playing in for large cats. I think kittens would absolutely LOVE this for playing. I also bought the Karma Scratch Kube, and my cats like that even better. The hole is bigger and they love sitting on top of it. I also tried the PetFusion 3-Sided Vertical Scratcher (its a triangular shape) -- it is also well made, but it is smaller, and my cats like to lay in the opening, but again, haven't taken to scratching on it. I thought the sloped sides would be enticing to them, but I think my cats are more enticed by the material of construction than the design. And for them, the rattan rope seems to be the favorite. If I were to rank the three items, I would go with 1. Kube. 2. Infinity Lounge 3. Vertical Scratcher (triangle)

Great design & cats love it
This is a very cool scratcher. I love the design - it's not an eyesore like most cat scratchers and it blends nicely with the decor of my home. It's pretty big, so take note of the measurements if space is a concern for you. My cats love to scratch, lounge and play on it, though it's not comfortable for both of them to hang out on together because only one can fit in the "sweet spot" (the dip in the center). But they use it a lot, and I incorporate it into their daily play sessions - it's adorable to see a little head or paw poke through one of the openings to get at whatever I'm dangling on the other side.My only [minor] complaint is that the cardboard sheds from the scratching - I find bits of it on the floor in the area nearby when I'm sweeping, and it creates a lot of dust on the furniture in the immediate vicinity. Despite the shedding it seems to be holding up well, and I flip it over now and then to make sure both sides are getting even wear. (On a related note, the rough surface tends to hold onto a lot of cat hair and scratching remnants so I take it outside occasionally to brush/bang it off, and I run over it with the hose when I'm vacuuming.)This one is still going strong after 5 months and I imagine it will be a long while before I have to replace it. But when the time comes, I'll gladly purchase another one.

My cats can't get enough
I purchased the Infinity Cat Scratcher Lounge about a month or so ago after being torn between it and the PetFusion product. They really are about the same price (usually only $1-2 difference), almost identical in size and weight, and the same in shape. The only difference I can truly see is that the PetFusion Lounger has way more reviews and isn't made in the USA. I, for one, like to support US made products and that was really the defining factor when purchasing this product. The lounger itself is 34 inches by 11 inches by 10 inches. Basically, it's pretty large compared to the "cat scratchers" you see in stores. However, I actually like that it's quite big because two of my cats are between 11-12 pounds and the other is actually about 17-18 pounds; I don't have small cats! Even the big boy male can sit comfortably in this lounger without being in danger of falling off. The shape is really loved by all three of my cats and they literally fight each other to lay on this thing; it's ridiculous. Two of my cats don't even have front claws and they "use" this scratcher anyways! Hilarious. The two holes are actually large enough to fit my 11-12 pound cats, though they rarely sit inside of it. Still, it's another place they can hide and hang out. I don't think the male can fit in the holes in the bottom.Although this product is pricey when compared to other scratchers, it's well worth the investment. When your cat is done with one side, simply flip it over and use the other! Then, as another reviewer pointed out, you can actually cut this lounger in half (though it wouldn't be much of a lounger anymore) and use the insides as well. You definitely will get your moneys worth with this purchase. Not only is it a scratcher, but a bed as well. The cardboard is tightly packaged, ensuring that this product really will go a long way. As I stated earlier, only one of my cats actually has claws and after it being in the home for about 2 months, he still isn't finished using one side. I can see this lasting for at least a year, maybe even longer.Highly recommended product. It's made in the USA, doubles as a scratcher and bed, and gives you bang for your buck. Couldn't ask for more!

Didn't get the model I paid for
The one star is more for the buying experience than the product itself. On this item's page, there is a choice of three different styles/models pictures. I chose the middle one with the bowed top. I thought my cat would enjoy laying in that curve. What I received instead was the first one with the flat top. Also, the style I received is a few dollars cheaper than the one I paid for. The time and effort it would take to return and hope to get the correct model was not worth the aggravation or the couple of dollars, so I ended up turning it upside down so my cat could sit in the indented space (which he does). The product itself is decent, just not the one I paid more for.

Nice product but missing catnip.
I was under the impression that there would be a bit of catnip sent with this, as an attractant. There was none. That was disappointing since I did not have a large stash of fresh catnip on hand.Aside from that, the product arrived in a huge box that became a kitty-playground while it waited to be recycled. It is a nice, large, sturdy structure that is pleasing to the eye. My cats both gave it the hairy eyeball before stalking away - but they are very suspicious of new things. I had to make a special trip to the pet shop to buy catnip - sprinkled it on and now they both scratch & sniff & lay on it. I expect that there will be a lightbulb moment when one and then the other, decides that it is wonderful.
