Oakcastle sim free easy to use mobile phone
Great little phone, of you just want a simple, not complicated, too many apps youll never use. This is for you. Very high ring on it which is handy if its in your bag and your out and about. Will work with any network as its open to all. Has dual sim slots and if you want to take photos etc theres a micro sd card slot. It has a radio on it that works from a 3.5jack socket, all these new phones have too much on them. It comes with a 'C' charger cable, battery, instructions. But once you put the battery in, sim card in and charge it up, your good to go Highly recommend, easy to set up, ive only charged it once since it came, still on full power after a week. Not to big but big enough numbers on the dial pad and illuminated at night. I would buy again.

It's a phone and it ain't smart.
I needed a Dumbphone. Something as far away from a Smartphone without having to plug it into a wall and have my mum moan at me for talking to my girlfriend before evening phone rates kicked in. This handset is exactly that. No whistles, no bells, just a functional phone that's easy to use. No apps, no camera, no social media, no distractions (Except built in Tetris, which is rad AF). PERFECT for staying contactable but disconnected from the wider world. Like the good ol days. It's light, the buttons are big and the screen is clear, so it's goes in my pocket, to be forgotten about unless there's an emergency. I had a Micro SIM, so had to used the SIM adapters which were included. Sadly their inclusion didn't make them anything more than utterly useless. I had to try to fit my micro SIM into the mini SIM adapter, then in turn fit the mini SIM adapter into the big SIM adapter, like the worlds worst Russian dolls, which wouldn't have been so bad if the method of inserting the lose, precarious SIM pile wasn't the ultimate frustrating test of digit dexterity. To get the SIM situated, it took two grown adults 20 minutes, a separate set of better quality SIM adapters, which I had purchased in the off chance I would need them and a dab of two part epoxy glue to hold the Micro SIM in the adapter. Needless the say, the device nearly met the wall, as speed several times. So if you're getting one of these for your Nan, prepare for a frustrating battle of you vs SIM slot. THE BIG LIE! The listing says that the handset has 8GB of internal storage. IT DOES NOT. I tried to load an MP3 audio book (432mb) on it and screamed at me because it had no space, so I tried to add a ringtone (The theme from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 10.46mb) and again, no space. You can expand the storage up to 32gb with a Micro SD card but that adds additional cost to the handset who's biggest selling point was "It's cheap", add the additional SIM adapters and the cost goes up again. Admittedly not to stratospheric levels but it certainly ain't Β£14 anymore and now I can't treat myself to a skinny latte at Cafe Niro. The default ring volume is so offensively loud that Ludwig Van Beethoven could hear it today and he is both deaf and dead. Obviously the volume can be adjusted but only on the internal system (there's no external volume control), so you have to be tortured by the insane, distorted, unchangeable ringtone in order to be able to decrease it's severity. If you want a phone for anything other than it's most basic call functions, this isn't for you. Spend a bit more and get a bit more. However, if like me you only really want it in the event of an emergency, it's ok. It's really only one step up from shouting trough a paper cone or two tins on a string but that's all I needed.

A Very Handy Back-up Phone
The Oakcastle F101 is an ideal back-up phone, also suitable for children or older individuals who require the basic features of a mobile that is easy to operate and available at an affordable price. Setting up the phone is a straightforward process: remove the back cover, insert a SIM card, and place the battery in before refitting the rear cover. It can be charged with the included fast-charging USB-C cable, providing up to 7 days of battery life. The FM radio operates effectively even in areas with poor reception. Users can listen through the rear speaker, headphone socket, or by inserting a micro-SD card (expandable up to 32 GB) for multimedia storage and 2 adapters provided for the SIM card. The F101 supports 2 SIM cards and offers solid 2G connectivity. Additional features include an LED torch, contacts list, SMS text messaging, 3 built-in games, calculator, calendar, file storage, stopwatch, world clock, alarm, unit conversion and even Bluetooth connectivity. For its price, the Oakcastle F101 mobile phone offers a range of practical features that cannot be beaten. For a simple phone that fits nicely in your top pocket and comes with an extended 3 year warranty; I highly recommend it.
