Nice Camera for under water
Nice Camera for under water. This camera took very nice pictures under water and was easy to use.

Not Waterproof, wasted my money.
I bought this Camera to take on my Birthday trip to the Carribean. I took a couple test shots in the living room with it. To make sure I could load the pictures to my phone,, ✔️ When I got to my resort, I took a test dive in the pool, 10', When I got out to show my wife the pictures. All it said was no card present, card error. I checked the card compartment. It was properly shut and it had gotten moisture inside of it and fried the card. And of course by the time I got back from vacation, the return policy had expired by three days, so i'm stuck with a defective camera...good luck.

Works great.
Camera takes great pictures and it is easy to load them on my computer. Great battery life and charges quickly. No issues with water entering any areas.

Good functional camera, but...
The good. Good photos underwater. Good video underwater. No leaks using underwater. Rechargeable Will except any size sd card The bad. Can not play back to TV wirelessly or with use of provided c/ USB cord. C drive will only charge camera. Need additional equpitment that will be compatible with sd card play back, ie computer, laptop or other devices.

Don't believe everything you read
This is a solid camera and that gave me high hopes after unpacking. However, good components and even good quality can still lead you to end up with an inferior product. For example, It has 48MP picture quality, Impressed? Don't be, the lens doesn't allow for the best of pictures so the high quality image is wasted. Most of the pictures I took were slightly blurry, even in broad daylight with plenty of sun. And the digital zoom is a joke as the picture is so pixilated that it looks like a bad watercolour (see the first picture). It does have some interestingly cool details like the various filters (red, green, blue) and a variety of lighting options (night, portrait, landscape, backlight, sport, party, beach, high sensitivity, or auto) (see pictures 2-5). It has some things you would expect like a timer, face & smile detect, and it even has an anti-shake feature. It can be programmed in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Turkish,Russian, Portuguese, Polish, Netherlands language and four Asian languages (presumably Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and one other). The main thing I wanted this for was the underwater feature (which admittingly I have not had the chance to test yet but, in a way, I am afraid to as the waterproof seal over the bottom is a very flimsy push and slide mechanism that is not secure at all. Maybe it is when it is shut but it is very easy to accidentally open and it is on the same side as the side as the button to take the picture. When you go to snap the picture most times you have a finger on the top button and the bottom of the camera - right where the push button is for the water tight closure. I already have accidentally opened the door when taking pictures without being underwater. Granted, there is a lot to like about this camera and it is very sturdy but the lack of a quality lens and more secure water tight closure is a necessity for this kind of camera. It still makes a good camera for having close by. In short, it can take some nice pictures BUT only if the conditions are just right (see picture 6). Without sufficient light it takes dark, blurry pictures (No, I am not talking about at night but just when the area may be darker - this camera needs a LOT of light - so underwater may be problematic as well). Not too bad for the price point! I will update this review AFTER testing the underwater feature at a later date.

Not rugged enough for the Grand Canyon
We purchased two of these cameras for our trip on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. For the first three days, both cameras functioned well. On day 4, one of the cameras stopped charging. On day 5, the other camera had a memory card error. We swapped the good card into the camera that still retained a charge but that camera's lens was so badly damaged we had to stop using it on day 6.

I bought this camera for a snorkelling trip to Vanuatu. The pictures were surprisingly good, but unfortunately the camera physically is not very well built. After only 2 uses, the charging port / sdcard door latch broke, rendering the camera no longer waterproof. Quite disappointed.
