Very good and straight forward
Assembly was fine, no special tools, but had to be complete before screw to wall. I bought 2 of these. One I had somebody hold while I bolted up. The other I just about managed on my own ad not too heavy.Looks great, very sturdy,

No more rain in the face
It came very quickly. Quicker than advised. Bit tricky to put up but now it's up and looks good. Now when I open the back door for the dog I don't get rain in my face!

Good value for money but it's definitely a two-person job to put up
Needed a canopy for our back door and this one came with decent reviews. It's pretty easy to assemble - though you need a half decent grip to push the seals in place - and whilst one person could assemble it, you would definitely benefit from having two people as helps to have someone to "feed" the seals into position whilst the one one pushes them in to the slots.Putting it on the wall is most definitely is a two person job.The instructions are relatively straightforward, however one diagram suggest you need a 10mm masonry drill and another shows a hole with a 11mm diameter mark next to it. I drilled it out using a 10mm drill and the supplied fixings wouldn't go into the holes. I had a 12mm drill but thought this would be too large and neither of my local Screwfix or Toolstation stores stock 11mm drills so had to waggle the 10mm drill around to open the holes up sufficiently to take the fixings. There's also an aluminium trim piece that doesn't appear on the instructions, though where it fits (the underside of the trailing round section) is pretty obvious but needs to be cut to size. This trim piece also helps to lock the "loose" end of the arms into position.Until it's fitted to the wall it feels a bit flimsy in that the arms can swing about a little bit, but once up it does feel solid and looks like it'll withstand a decent British downpour. Looks nice up too.Four stars due to ambiguity on the hole diameter and lack of instructions for the trim piece.

Very robust. Proper design. Take your time installing it.
Dont rush the assembly. Take your time reading through the instructions. An assembly video would be useful. The quality is excellent. The fastening bolts supplied need a carefully drilled hole. They dont work well in oversized holes and are slightly long for standard bricks as they rely on the tip retaining a grip in order to expand the body of the fastening. Possibly an alternate design of fastening might work better. Use a cardboard template to mark the hole positions. A well made an well finished design. Worth the price. Will last for years.

An excellent canopy
I wanted to buy a sturdy one and not one where the brackets are plastic. This has very sturdy aluminium brackets. It was easy to put together and I managed to put it up on my own. Overall it took less than 1.5 hours from opening the box to it being installed. A nice touch is that the wedge bolt anchors (10mm drill bit needed) are included in the box so it includes everything you need apart from a drill and tools. A good design feature is that the brackets can be slid alone the length of the canopy so you can locate them to suit. In my case, it meant I could avoid the lintel over the doorway.

Over priced
Had a cheap canopy so when broke with wind thought I’d pay for a more pricey one what a mistake paid £80 more for this one was not easy to assemble needed two people as stated but a third person was handy tried few attempts to fit but still as a slight slant looks like we’ve been on booze when fitted 🙈

Absolutely Brilliant
We have very little clearance over our door and needed a canopy with low brackets - a lot harder to find than I anticipated. This canopy fits the bill with 15cm high brackets, all other materials can easily be cut to size if required and the connector moves in the brackets which gives more flexibility as to where to position it.The canopy looks really good and was a bargain at the price.

Good, sturdy, but needs two people especially if you use the supplied expansion bolts.
I fitted this on my own, but after a failed attempt using the supplied expansion bolts I gave up and used "chemical anchor studs" instead. The expansion bolts can dislodge brick dust in the hole and then you need both hands to remove / manipulate them - impossible when you're up a ladder with the canopy balanced on your head. I recommend the chemical (resin) fixing studs, held in place with a thin wood template while the resin set. I used 10mm studs in 11mm hole. Once the studs are in place it's easy to place the assembly onto the bolts and secure the arms with nuts. Another advantage is you can remove and re-fit the canopy easily if (as in my case) a misalignment of the wall bricks causes the assembly to lean - requiring some spacer washers to be inserted onto the stud behind the canopy arm.Of course the anchor studs are permanent and should you later remove the canopy you will need to cut them flush with the wall and/or cover them up. I hope this helps.
