I’ve been using Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops for years, and nothing else compares. As someone with fair skin, I’ve tested every tanning product under the sun (literally), and these are hands down the most foolproof.✅ My Method (Take Notes):I use the Medium shade (the green one) for a natural, glowy tan that doesn’t scream spray tan fail. I layer about 16 drops per section—torso, arms, chest, etc.—mixed into a lightweight lotion like Aveeno or Nivea Cream. Pro tip: I combine everything in a small glass bowl (about 10–16 pumps of lotion plus 14–16 drops) and mix it well before applying. This keeps streaks and patchiness out of the equation.✅ For Fast Results:If you want to accelerate the process (careful—this is advanced practice), go for the Dark shade (the purple one). Just don’t get too carried away—over 25 drops per section, and you may tiptoe into Oompa Loompa territory. I save Dark for legs, torso, and chest and stick to Medium for arms, face, and sensitive areas so it all blends naturally.✅ Performance:• Transparent liquid: zero transfer on sheets or clothes• No weird DHA smell (a miracle)• You’ll notice your skin gradually deepen to a bronzy brown before any orange tones appear—this is the melanin activation working as designedBottom line: this is the only self-tanner I trust. If you’re fair-skinned and tired of trial and error, get these drops. Just remember—respect the drop count. You can always layer more, but you can’t un-tan.

It took me a while, but I finally love these tan drops. They don’t make you look orangey but you MUST work in sections and rub in thoroughly. I moisturize dry areas (knees, elbows, feet) BEFORE applying lotion with drops. Otherwise, the dryer areas will absorb more color. It’s not easier than a gradual tan lotion, but you can customize depending on the look you’re going for.

I was really excited to try this product and bought the light formulation with the pink dropper. I have very mixed feelings about these sun drops.After applying this to my face, arms, and legs I had very different results. My face didn’t seem to have much change in color. My legs looked great, similar to an early summer tan (about my natural maximum tan), and my arms looked somewhat yellow.I was very deliberate in the quantity of drops used. I used the same amount of moisturizer plus 4 drops for each of my legs, equal amounts of lotion with 3 drops for each arm and 2 drops on my face with my regular daily skin care. I don’t quite understand why I had such tonal differences. After washing my hands for the tenth time the back of my hands looked comically pale compared to the yellow tinge on my arms. It looked like I had worn mittens (like a reverse farmer’s tan.) I really want to love this product but I can’t say that I do.About me: I’m a very fair skinned brunette of German and Scandinavian descent. I have a lot of pink undertones.

As a fair skinned Irish girl this light version works great. I hate the fake tanner smell but because you can mix these products with your own moisturizer or lotion you can use whatever scent you want !

Love these tanning drops. They mix in easily with lotion and because of the application method, you avoid the streaky look that some tanning products leave. I would definitely recommend these!

Great option for those like me with super fair skin. You can adjust the amount yourself to suit your needs. Has a very light smell but I think it smells good. It is temporary and doesn’t usually last more than one or two showers but that was expected. After it dries it doesn’t come off onto clothes but watch what you touch before it dries.

Delivery took more than a month and the top of the dropper had been snipped/cut off. The product seems to work well.

Love this stuff ! So easy to use with your fave lotion . Although game changer , I used it with my jergens natural glow tanning lotion and that really made it work fast and gave me a nice tan color !
