a bit tough to open and lock on the first go as it's a lot smaller than traditional lanterns but once you get the hang of it you'll be fine. be very gentle with it though i already had one of the rods break off from the ring attachment just using it normally, so i can tell build quality isn't the greatest that's the reason for taking off one star

This is my first time using a lantern style softbox, and I love it! Pairs great with the ML60IIBi, and diffuses light very nice and evenly. Materials are all very nice, and they feel durable. Easy to set up and install too!

this is a toy!...but when you buy toy lights ...then you buy cheap toy accessories!
