Just a little sizzle or thickness or full on obnoxious. Plenty of options. Easy fix for a crappy bass too. We can finally win the fight against guitarists. It’s also good for “nice” music. Clean or thumpy and even slap. I wish I waited to buy it because right after I got it the aux cord version came out.

First things first....this is not a pedal to fix your bad bass tone. This pedal enhances your existing tone. What I mean is when the eq is at 12:00 there is absolutely NO difference in your original tone when u engage the pre amp side of the pedal. But u can really dig in the eq an tweek ur highs, mids and lows. Now when you step on the distortion side it comes alive. You can dial in a Geddy Lee mild smooth distortion OR that aggressive modern grinding distortion and anything in between. This thing is set up for recording an makes adjusting simple but on stage the controlls are tight and would be very difficult to do on the fly. So find your sound before u hit the stage. Head phones is another plus. Cab simulation is another great option for recording and adds a lot of additional tones. Bottom line.....yes it is expansive BUT the distortion is the best u can get for the bass IMOP. The preamp will take a great tone and make it better. The build quality is second to none and most importantly IT LOOKS COOL ON UR BOARD! THIS pedal doesn't come with a power supply and doesn't take batteries so.....
