Scout family seal of approval!
I got these for my husband and two sons who are Scouts. What a great tool! My boys loved figuring out all of the little tools it has. The knife leaves much to be desired, but honestly if it was sharp it's too small to be useful. Everything else is so awesome though no one in my family cared! I'm thinking of getting more and keeping them on hand for when my son's learn a friend has a birthday. I read where other people have issues with the compass. We do not. It is a small disk, so I can see it getting stuck. We just gave it a little shake and made sure it was level and we had no issue. They tested it every 10 minutes or so while we were camping and hiking in Southern Utah.

2 out of 3 is bad in this case
One of the three arrived with no compass or tool in it. The other two were okay but my husband had already used the Flint on his before my daughter opened hers and realized it was not complete. My husband wouldn't let me return them since they wouldn't be able to resale his so had to buy another one for my daughter. I hope at least 2 out of 3 are good on the next order.

Great product. I will buy it again
I ordered these for gifts for some people in the dept I work in. I liked the fact that they are adjustable. One thing I would add if giving these away - I printed and cut out the functions of the unit as there wasn't one included - what good is it if someone doesn't know all the awesome things it will do???!!!!

The Light Works, Compasses don't.
Like the light power which l used recently during a flat tire fix. Light lasted the whole 22 minutes it took to change. Dislike, None of the Compasses show the same direction for north.

Not the highest quality tools, The compass is useless, but otherwise a neat set. It has a lot of cool little options, but some are difficult to access. at least the sparker and cutting ability and the para chord could come in handy.

Almost perfect
Arrived in great time all the lights work. Compass works slightly but not well which is why I took off one star.I bought these for the buckles to make paracord watches & they have worked out great.
