You get what you pay for, as my Mum used to say
Just what I needed .. three inputs and three outs. Needed this to switch usb dac to either active monitors or headphone amp. Excellent build and great feel to the switch knobs. Expensive considering it's only a passive switch, but quality is very high and with so many switching options I can add more inputs and outputs for years to come ...

Does what it says
This is a fantastic device. Bit expensive for what it does really but it feels good quality. Saves me having to mess around unplugging cables when I want to switch audio source. I only have 1 set of monitors in my room so have my turntables connected along with my audio interface which is connected to my Mac mini and also my consoles so it's just a case of turning the source dial and that's it.

Great switching unit
Great at what it doesIts not a amplifier its a switch control unit!I am using it as ballanced input/output sellector from my dac which has its own volume control instad of my pre amp. Also using RCA inputs from my AV reciever to switch to ballanced out to my power amplifier. My dac is a dual mono 6x5 / 6n23p tube dac based on a ES9038PRO chip with lampizator circuit.Power amp is a diy nelson pass aleph 5 power amp.Sound quality has improved in detail & bass depth by removing my aleph p1.7 and using this control unit.

Manual Switch with no frills
Just so everyone understands what they are buying. This is a manual switch that takes inputs, and redirects to outputs, enabling you to change from RCA connectors to XLR connectors. It doesn't use a power supply so the only working parts are the manual selector knobs which switch between positions for the connectors. There is no chip, and no powered parts. The box itself is metal and seems quite sturdy. The connectors are secure when you attach them. That's about all you can say because the unit isn't intended to do much. XLR cables are shielded, where as RCA cables are not. Therefore if you are taking a long RCA lead as your input and output it to XLR, the sound will already have interference. XLR is designed to stop interference creeping in through shielding, but it can't remove it. The box simply accepts signal in one end and outputs it out the other. If you use RCA then the best way to reduce interference is to keep the lead as short as possible. If you have XLR as your input and a short RCA lead as your output the interference should be minimal. That is how I use it.Overall build quality is fine but its a tin box with a few connectors and manual switches. I think its over priced for what it is.

Good buy.
Does the job with no sound degradation and is well made.

Clean, no noise switch.
Works as expected. I'd love a version with 4.4mm balanced jacks to make it smaller

Good Product
I wanted a switch so that I could use a Desktop PC and a DJ Controller for one set of XLR speakers. My setup was initially from the PC (3.5 Audio cable) = (RCA Y-Splitter cable) = (RCA cables) = SWITCH = (XLR Cable) to speakers, however using this method the speakers would make a crackling noise when turning up the volume. I did not get the same crackling noise when switching XLR DJ Controller to XLR Speakers. To solve this I bought a one cable running from PC to the Switch (3.5mm Jack to Dual XLR Male Y-Splitter Cable) = (SWITCH) = (XLR CABLE) to Speakers. So I guess its better to have better insulated cables and less cable connections.

Great switch box
This and it's brother the one little bear. Are used within my system to connect 2 DACs, streamer DAC and two amplifiers together using balanced cables. I am able to switch input and amplifier easy without any loss of detail sharing one balanced input on each amp. Highly recommend. There is no cross interference either.
