Review
A book about a man who owned the first ever official legal body farm where donors bodies would be put out in different settings so that police and scientists could see how a loved one will decompose depending on there environment in places like just left in a woodland area, buried in dirt, left open to the ailments really interesting read fascinating to know

again a great read for someone interested in that subject
Again a book that I read years ago and had loaned it to someone who never returned it. Such a fascinating subject on how the science of pathology and all the research that these doctors do so that it can help police in their investigations on crimes committed either by guns , knives, fires etc...again a great read for someone interested in that subject. I also found it quite revealing that a young researcher on cuts made by saws was able to help to tell what saw was used to cut up the bodies of two young girls thus helping to convict notorious Canadian killer Paul Bernado who to this day is and will be incarcerated for life.

Répondre au comment de la façon la plus extrême
Comment la victime est-elle morte? Depuis combien de temps? Bill Bass a voulu répondre à cette question en dépassant les contraintes imposées par la bienscéance ou la peur de la mort. La science à l'état pur.

fascinating
It’s fascinating to me that forensic science is so new. Dr. Bass has accomplished a phenomenal amount of work, and truly changed the course of history. His curiosity about all things body related has inspired some truly amazing feats of innovation. It’s amazing how many scientists he’s trained and worked with over the years. His stories, while occasionally gruesome, are absolutely fascinating. The human body is amazing, and I really enjoyed learning about “from dust we came and to dust we return”. The forensics of death and what information our bodies hold is amazing. Great read.
