Great carter knock off
Arrived fast I installed it today....can't speak on longevity yet but it felt solid installed easy and my truck fired right up....im running a 850 double pump holley on 454 with a 5 speed in a 97 z71 and always ran the bowls dry with the rattle style pumps.....took it down the road at wot and it didn't run dry....for those saying it's loud you must have never used the rattle style holleys cause the low hum of this one is silent by comparison

Great pump for the money.
Bought two of these to install dual fuel pumps on my airboat. Best to have a backup in the Florida swamp. Good price, easy to install and they work great!

Does the job
So far so good. Mounted it up on my 1981 full-size Bronco. It failed to work at first due to poor contact/design of the wiring at it's base. Threaded studs would be an improvement.

Looks like a good pump for a classic rebuilder with a carb.
Appears to be a solid pump. Going to use it on my Jeep CJ restoration. Vine is making me review it early, but if I have a problem, I will update the review.

Decent pump for the price, pumps just about anything fuel related i throw at it
Using this as part of a replumbing project on my 40 year old idi. Install was simple, made semi complex by my own additions (wye strainer, stainless nipple, an fittings, etc). Quality seems to be as good as the carter it's based on, or at least the weight is similar. These are hefty pumps. It functions better than the pump it is replacing, and seems to flow as well as the carter i have on a different vehicle. The thing I love about these pumps is that they are quiet. The pump it is replacing sounded like a wounded woodpecker. That's also probably my fault as I run whatever can loosely be called fuel and will flow in my tank.

Overpriced Carter knockoff
This is a knockoff of the good old Carter P4070, but it's only a couple of dollars cheaper. It seems louder to me also, but that may go away after break-in. It is used for carb systems, not fuel injected. 8 psi is too low even for throttle body injection. It works, and seems to be fairly good quality, but a $3 discount is not going to get me to jump ship from Carter and their warranty. The Carter has bolt-on power leads, and a ton of clamps and attachments for only $56. This needs a bigtime price drop if it's going to compete.

Loud..
Seems like good quality, moves fuel just fine, but it's very loud, hence 3 stars..
