The filters for the waterdrop system has a12-month effective life. I keep a five year calendar and reserve 15-20 minutes to swap out the filter. Its a simple process and I the quick connect attachments to the water lines makes it very easy. The water quality is noticeable - its clear, mineral free and tasteless.

If you are researching this filter for the stainless steel under sink filter system, do not buy this model. It is extremely hard to remove the canisters. I still haven't managed to do so. Upon contacting Waterdrop customer service, their best suggestion was to hire a professional. I'm not willing to do that every 6 months.

Looks 100% identical to the pre filter, does not look anything like advertised pictures. I would love to open it to see whats inside but afraid to not have an eligible return. Hopefuly waterdrop contacts me to assure me im wrong but see for yourself.

Please advise I love my filter system under my sink it works perfectly. However, getting filters seems to be a chore. These came in damaged and I have to return the damaged ones and wait on new ones. Not sure why they would want these back but I suppose ill go through the hassle of taking these back so I’m not charged twice 🤦🏼‍♂️
