Fun Product...
I studied Usability and sometimes I can be bleeding edge, but I did wait for this second version of the watch. It's definitely a cool gadget and people I pass ask me about it all the time. I like the pedometer best. It definitely keeps me more active, and I love that it tracks history of activity and heart rate, which seems to be accurate enough. Not sure why it notifies me that I've achieved my goal later then when it actually happens. I love it for hands free driving with calls and that it helps find my phone! I was hoping to use it to stop and start Google Play, but so far it only seems to works with Samsung music (or I have yet to figure that one out). As a woman, we don't always have pockets to have phones on us. It's great to have notifications "on me" especially around the house (less running to get the phone, though that would be more steps). I would like to be able to change the band but haven't found them on the market, only in pics. I don't think the camera quality and position is worth it, so you can save with the Gear 2 Neo, which was a smart move to offer a less expensive model. I'm really enjoying it.. and as a fitness instructor, my classes enjoy knowing how many steps we have taken!

For those of you waiting for the apple watch: just switch your phone to a Samsung phone and get this watch. Granted, this doesn't have payments or whatever on it, but it has everything you really need, including the ability to turn off the TV FROM YOUR WATCH when your spouse falls asleep with it on and you don't know where the remote has gone. Genius. Tracks walking, heart rate, sleep, and is also an awesome Dick Tracy watch -- you can use it as a speaker phone for telephone calls, can get sms on it (including photos/videos) and can dictate sms back. And did I mention it has a fairly decent camera RIGHT IN THE WATCH? This thing is amazing. Now it doesn't matter that my phone is usually lost in my purse (and if it does matter, the watch has a feature to help me find the phone. Handy.)

Excellent!
I had a Gear 1 and was disappointed in some of the lack of capability but those are truly fixed in Gear 2. One of the issues with Gear 1 was the staining of the orange band (I'm sure the same would be true of the other colors except black). The stains were not cleanable at all. With the Gear 2 and the fact that you can change the band (impossible with Gear 1), that issues no longer exists. Plus this organge band on this Gear 2 has not stained at all yet so possibly the material is different. This watch is excellent!

My gear 2 only worked for 3 months then it stop charging. I hope Samsung will replace it

Loved the function
Loved the function. Picture quality was great just huge on my little wrist and was uncomfortable.Was sad to return.

Best Watch on the market love everything about it the color the features!!!! Looks great on the wrist!!! And it's waterproof and dust proof and I forgot you can change bands wow what watch can do all that plus more!!!

WARNING - I did not get what I paid for
My package arrived with a Galaxy Gear 2 Neo, not the Gear 2 Metallic. The Neo is an all plastic case, so no metallic front, has no camera, and the bracelet is cheaper looking. The Neo is 1/3 cheaper then the Metallic. I paid MORE than full retail for the better watch. The auto return link said it cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. 15 minutes on a live chat solved the problem and I got the return authorization. Had I not taken the time to educate myself about smart watches I would have not notice the error, possibly ever, as this was a gift - I would have been cheated. I do not know if this was an honest error, or if blutek was trying to pull a fast one. The bubble wrap bag over the box was labelled wrong as well so Amazon likely would not have noticed. This was not a good experience as I had to take back the gift the moment she opened the box. Check you got the correct model. I don't trust blutek anymore.
