This fits my German-shepherd-sized cattle dog mix’s 8.5” bowl perfectly. As for slowing him down? Yeah. I think it does. He can eat an entire chicken thigh in two bites and was eating so fast that he was vomiting. Since I’ve been using this, we haven’t had any more incidents!He came to me with bowls already, so I didn’t want to waste money buying a whole other set. This insert works well and is pretty easy to clean. There are suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place, and he hasn’t chewed any of the silicone. An overall win.

This product is awesome. It actually suction cups at the bottom to the bowl so it’s not easily removed. It also definitely slowed our puppies eating down. She eats like she hasn’t eaten in days, and with this she actually has to go around the bowl to be able to get everything. You can just clean it by hand or throw it in the dishwasher for efficiency. Great product so far.

Works but moves around and can easily pop off if a dog figured out he can bite and pull. That being said my dog doesn't car it's there and just enjoys eating. He hasn't tried to pull it off. It HAS slowed down his scarfing. I have an english bulldog and he will just inhale without chewing lol. He went from done in 5 min to done in 15. Definitely worth it.

My dog has allergies which is most aggravated while she is chowing down on her kibble. I wanted to purchase a slow feeder but have a larger dog who is also very much used to her regular food bowl. This was the perfect solution for my needs. The feeder fits right in her large bowl, slows her down, and now I am not listening to her cough as much as she chows down.Easy to clean.Depth was perfect for my babies bowl.Slows her down, easy to clean, wash, and maintain healthy conditions for my baby.GREAT VALUE. Food would get stuck underneath it and our hungry never-seen-food-before husky pup would use this to pick up the bowl and bring it to us. I ended up returning it.It gets 3 stars because most dogs aren't insanely starving huskies and also because her bowl is heavy ceramic and the feeder did actually stay stuck. Bonus points for having serious suction cups.

Worked perfectly. Dogs chew far more of their kibble and take far longer to consume--takes 60-90 seconds now to eat. Device fits snuggly and well in stainless steel bowl and hasn't come out despite dogs trying. Excellent.

Bought this for my bulldog who is a fast and eager eater. I trimmed down the fingers with scissors to fit his short nose, which was very easy. Super easy to clean by throwing it in the dishwasher.

This fits perfect in my dogs larger food bowl, it works well keeping the suction on the bottom and has been pretty easy to clean. With how much food my dog eats, I wish it was taller so more food could fit, but other than that I like it.
