Although I haven't read them yet but if they are half as good as the First Law trilogy they will be a great read.

I've never been much of a reader to be honest but as I'm getting older and starting to slow down I thought I'd start to read a bit more. I've always liked sword and sourcery type things and having read Game of Thrones some years ago I looked for something similar and these seemed to fit the bill. I must admit that I struggled with the first half of the first book but, once the characters had been introduced and the scene set I really got into it. The more I read the harder I found it to put down and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the trilogy, so many twists and turns and unexpected outcomes. Can't recommend these books enough for fictional fantasy lovers. I've since bought the next set of these and am racing through them with great joy.

Brilliant read for Fantasy lovers. Well worth the money. Will buy more books by Joe Abercrombie.

Hooked me from the first sentence to the last. Loved all the characteres and the convincing storyline that nicely intertwines. I would reccoment Joe Abercrombie to anyone, even the "swearing" is perfectly in context, it`s a bloody good read (Whoops!).

If you like this man's dark and dangerous swords and sorcery books these are for you They are NOT in a boxset as others have noted - but that's ok with me you cannot get these 2nd hand at present so good new price

I really enjoyed reading these books, especially Red Country. The set was delivered to me in Egypt in less than two weeks!

Arrived in perfect condition. The book were bound together by a transparent strip and then completely shrink wrapped. No damage. Perfect.

Great series and well written! If you’re here you’ve probably already decided to get the books… so I’ll comment on the quality. Box is sturdy and high quality. The print is clear and sharp and I haven’t come across a single smudge or lightly pressed letters. Only complaint is it’s hard to get the books back in the box.
