There are all kinds of olive oil on the market, but this brand, from Greece, could certainly counted among the best. it's got a deep, rich flavor which is great for salads and other dishes. It's not cheap, but worth the price. And, it comes in a neat burlap bag if you are gifting.

I have a friend whose house I frequent for little dinner parties. She has a wine collection that is to die for. Unfortunately, I can’t pick a chardonnay or a Riesling to save my life. So when I saw this decadent bottle of olive oil, I thought, “Yeeeessss… she doesn’t have anything like this!”Last Saturday I brought a bottle of Menelaus with me. It was just her and I and our youngest kids. She mixed up a homemade dressing made from the Menelaus olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette and a bit of fresh crushed garlic. Oh my goodness! If you’ve never had a good cold press olive oil before, this is a HUGE difference compared to the $10 bottle you get in the grocery store. The taste is so much more real. I know store brands claim their organic and all that good stuff. But this olive oil is in a league all it s own. It literally tastes fresher.If you’re looking for a good gift for the foodie in your life, this is definitely a great choice.

This olive oil is simply divine. Delicious....far better than any other I've tried out there. We truly enjoyed the flavor, and the stunning bottle and packaging. It's high quality olive oil, to be used when you want a quality flavor added to your meals. The warm flavor makes you feel like you are in Greece dining at a top establishment or in the home of a private chef who uses his/her own homegrown olives --I highly recommend this olive oil -you will not be disappointed.

I've tried some pretty good olive oils but this one has by far the best taste. Such a fresh earthy smell and flavor. Goes great with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella or just some good bread. Worth the extra money. Highly recommend.
