Very good- comparable to the ones I had as a child that were sent from family in Nuremberg !

My German wife says these as the real deal and tasted delicious with her German coffee. A little expensive but again, the real deal.

Lived and Germany, many things. This took me back to wonderful memories.

These cookies take me back to my childhood when everyone baked these wonderful gingerbread cookies and the kitchen smelled heavenly. I gave them four stars because the bottom of the cookies tastes like paper and I peeled if off each cookie before eating it. I would also prefer it without icing because the excess sugar masks the great ginger flavor without adding anything good to the cookie.
