Whitmor Protective Shoulder Covers - Set of 4 White

Update: After receiving the other brands of these (I ordered several), I can see these are far higher quality. I'm much happier with them after seeing what the alternatives are.First, I should say these are well built and they definitely protect the jackets. They are a slightly smaller size, so perfect for a women's jacket or a men's dress shirt. The fit very nicely over my clothes and come down a full 12", so they are doing the job. I'm disappointed by how wrinkly they are. I was able to steam the wrinkles out of the clearish material on the sides, but the part that shows in my closet are the white bands, which won't even give up the wrinkles after wetting them and ironing on low. It makes my closet look a bit junky--almost like I've got a bunch of wrinkled tissue paper over everthing. I might try a different style that's a bit more visually tolerable, but I'm so happy with the function of these that I want to give them a chance. Maybe they'll straighten out over time.

These are exactly as described, and look exactly like the photo. The front and back are a slightly frosted looking, heavy vinyl (the plastic smell goes away quickly); the "breathable material" running around the sides and top is not woven fabric, but more like a "handi-wipe" type of material. They are wider than most, and fit comfortably over one men's suit or one winter coat. These are solid, functional, inexpensive covers, but not high-end or good-looking. I just wanted something inexpensive to keep our out-of-season clothes neat and clean, and these are exactly what I needed. They worked for me, but they would probably not be good for someone who likes to keep a pretty closet.

Roomy enough to cover one bulky coat or several dresses.

My wife swears by these for daily and seasonal clothing and all of our jackets, suits, coats, party dresses - everything but leisurewear- has these covers. And, it does make a difference. I pulled out a jacket to wear which I had not worn in a while and it was crisp and perfect. No need to brush shoulders or lapels.

The perfect fit to protect my winter/summer clothes. I was able to fit about 5-6 pieces for each cover. It is not clear plastic but you still can see your clothes so that is not an issue at all. Very satisfied and at a great price.

I liked that they were not a wide version designed for mens' suits but nicely fit over my ladies' shirts, dresses, etc. It pays to measure the width of your clothes so any protectors that you consider are not going to stick out beyond your clothing shoulders and take up more closet space. These are a perfect size for women's clothing. They nicely hold at least 3 garments each and you can see what's in each protector without removing it. Also,no dust can get in the top opening..it fits snugly over the hangers. Finally, they are very well made and worth the cost.

I can't believe I didn't think to purchase dust covers way sooner. As a remote worker, my "good" clothes stay untouched in my closet for long periods of time. I wanted a solution that didn't involve putting most of my clothes in storage bins. I went with this brand over the others primarily because they are 22 inches wide instead of 24. I can still fit several shirts / sweaters in one cover but they don't take up any more space than is necessary. I also didn't want to purchase covers that would "show" dust when they did do their job of protecting my clothes from dust. The only drawback was the plastic smell right out of the package. I think this would be an issue with any other brand too so I didn't take off any points for that. I just ran them through the washing machine in a mesh laundry bag and then wiped them down really good before air drying the rest of the way and that seemed to do the trick.

Bastante prácticas, en mi caso las compré a un super precio... así que el material es propocional a lo que me costaron. Están bien cocidas y terminadas.Leí comentarios de que huele mal, o a plástico... Y pues en mi caso no fue así, obvio huelen a plástico pues de ese material están hechas, pero nada en exceso como para quejarme de ello.

These are the perfect size to cover suits and keep them dust free. They are also well made and good quality for the price.

The feel and look are good quality. Not flimsy and cover the hanger well. I intend to purchase more.

The media could not be loaded. These are a bit pricier per unit than other options but they are of excellent quality and should last a lifetime. The seams are robust, the gusset is a synthetic breathable fabric, the main portion is a soft PVC which feels substantial enough that it won’t easily tear. There is an odour on opening - that blow up pool ring smell - but it disappears quickly.I only got one pack to see what they were like, but I will buy more.

Good product. Keeps the dust off my clothes. I like the breathable shoulder strip.
