The Good: I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I still love using my original wired Zune headphones (yes, I said Zune, don't judge me). With this 3.5 mm audio adapter, I can listen to music and charge my phone at the same time! Since I'm using wired headphones, I don't have to worry about the battery dying on my headphones. It'll last as long as my phones battery lasts. It works great! As for the charging, even while listening to music, this adapter still fast charges my phone! It's very easy to use as well. It really is plug-n-play. The Bad: At a base price of about $20, it does seem a bit pricey, but beyond the price, the product itself is well worth it to me. I didn't find anything that stood out as an issue with the adapter itself. My Thoughts: I use this adapter almost daily. I've had it for a few months and it still works great. While I wind down for the night, my phone battery is usually getting low, so I can easily plug this in and listen to music while my phone charges. It fits great on my phone as it only slightly sticks out a bit at the bottom, but it's nothing too bad. For how well it works, I'd still highly recommend this adapter, even at it's regular price.

Works as advertised, will fast charge my phone using the side usb c port, great little adaptor the sound quality is good and it is stylish with the clear little window to see the electronics, great value for the price.

hifi analog. The highend is full, the low is crisp. It has a rather low noise floor which is good. My car already has an amp in line with the speakers so i didnt see the need for the other versions without the usb c charging. It charges my Samsung S20 at 14w~18w or atleast from what my usb cord said on its watt meter. It powers the phone and plays music at the same time which i cant say cheaper dacs actually do. A quirk i noticed is you should definetely always have this powered if you listen to music, the output becomes kind of grainy if its unpowered. Keep the volume at max on the phone and use your cars stereo to adjust the master volume to reduce noise. If you turn your car off and still have it plugged into dc, you come back 1 hour later start the car, the DAC will be in a weird state. I recommend getting a cigarrete lighter to DC converter so you can easily plug out and back in to reset the DAC's power state. Otherwise it pauses and starts very fast until you reset the power state of the DAC. If you are running this on USB directly, i dont know maybe buy a little switch that goes between the input to the DAC just to reset it. Its a great little device, even if the bottom was a little scratched before i got it. It functions at a high capacity and i will be pulling the fuse to my ford sync bluetooth audio system in favor of this. Its awesome.

I use this in tandem with a cassette to aux adapter to play music with my phone and charge at the same time, it works well for that! Some notable faults are that after about 8 months in the car, the USB-C port has the cable coming out of the metal housing (but it still works (for now)). Another quirk that might be with my phone and not with the adapter is that occasionally, the adapter is not detected and doesn't transmit power or music until the phone is restarted, a minor annoyance.

Tried this on both mine and my wife's Galaxy S24 Ultra, as well as my old Galaxy Note 8. The adapter does not get recognized at all. I have another adapter that works great but does not the ability to charge while I have a headphone connected, which was the only reason I bought this one to try. The adapter itself is NOT defective - I plugged it into a Windows laptop and it was recognized instantly and can play audio just fine. But as this was specifically advertised to work with not just smartphones in general but MY model of the phone, it's very disappointing.
