Q: How many centimeters are the stones in diameter and thickness? And how often have to clean the machine?

Hello,The stones are 8 1/4 cm in diameter and 1 1/2 cm in thickness. Depending on how often you are using it, if using it a lot than I would run a couple of cups of white rice through it every week or two. Thanks,Michelle

We've had ours six years. Still going strong!

Q: What would be a guideline of which komo to buy? i know there are different housing sizes and different size motors? speed? quantity ground?

If you would use it a lot and grind large batches, then I'd get the big one. If only occasionally, get the smaller one. They are beautiful to look as as well and we leave ours on the counter full time.
