Good for climbers
This is a good idea for climbers if you don‘t have a wall. Takes a bit of stretching when they come out of the box. I have deducted one star for the price but I guess you have to pay for the idea.

Ok plant support
This is an ok plant support, difficult to set up, you need a bamboo cane or similar to support the spiral twister and it must be held firmly into the soil, before extending. Time will tell if it supports the plants.

Great option for climbing plants
These are a great option for climbers. Easy to use. If you’re using at full height you do need quite a deep pot or additional support at the top. We’ve used at 6ft for sweet peas but will use others at a shorter height for tomato plants

Very attractive flexible climbing structure
The spiral was not stable in my planter with just the central bamboo and needed four additional bamboo canes to keep it stable. The planter is 48cms deep and 30cms across. Maybe it does not have enough depth. There is no indication of depth of planter needed on the box. Maybe it would be more stable with garden soil than compost. Looks lovely and I am looking forward to seeing it covered in climbers.

Not so good for containers
Whilst this product is strong this inevitably causes issue when expanding it causing the bottom to spring back out of the compost even with two pegs holding down. I could imagine it would secure more if used in hard soil but fresh compost is a no go I'm afraid. This is a shame as the effect it would give with the clematis wrapped round would be lovely.

Though these would be great but no!
It’s virtually impossible to get these to stay attached to the cane without flying off! The peg to attach them to doesn’t stay in the ground and once you have them installed the slightest knock or wind causes the spiral to recoil and fly off. Nearly had my eye out when I was moving the pot slightly.Saw them at the Chelsea flower show and was so excited to use them but not fit for purpose.

A clever tidy solution
I'm not an expert gardener so fashioning frames for plants to climb out of bamboo and twine have been unsuccessful in the past. This was a lovely solution, easy to install and smart to look at. It's doing a lovely job with supporting tomatoes and helping the peas and sweet peas grow. You will need to set up when the ground isn't hard or you won't be able to push it deep enough for them to stay in place, it did worked well in the pots. I'm considering getting more!

Great looking
I have put these over my dahlias which have just started to grow. They look great and the only reason I have put 4 stars is that I don’t know if they will provide the support as they get bigger. They feel sturdy enough so I think they will be fine. Very happy customer.
