Good battery
I bought this for my HP pavilion laptop. I went on HP website and that helped me match this battery to what I needed. I didn't want to spend twice the amount for a battery that they had. This was definitely fraction of the price and it works wonderful. I'm very happy that my computer is back up and running again. When I first put it on I was afraid it wasn't working but I left the charger cord in the computer. It did have some charge to it when it came and when I installed it. My computer did pop with something on the screen that I installed a new battery. It asked me to format it and I said yes. After it formatted it started fully charging. It holds a longer charge than the battery I had before. I've been using it for a few months now if anything changes I will update my posts on how long it lasts. It fit the computer perfectly, installation was extremely easy. There is videos on YouTube that can show you how to install it. To me it's very durable.

HP Pavillion seemed dead
Left my laptop in the car overnight and the temps got into the single digits. Next time I plugged in the PC some days later, the light next to the power socket wouldn't even come on. A tech friend said all of the power connections go through the battery. He helped me find the right replacement model.Had to look up a YouTube video to help find the bezel screws on the Pavillion. Connector design is good so removal and replacement were a cinch. Worked as expected. Price was right, too.

Genuine replacement, not a knockoff
Arrived quickly and was packaged well. It was the genuine battery and matched my existing battery exactly. Unfortunately it made no difference to the problem with my laptop, but I do not blame this battery...
