I had a crazy idea of a night stand with lit surface. Tried several LED lights, but only these lights fit the bill. Since they are not very flexible, you only can create simple shapes. I went for the oval. You also can cut them to the length, in precise location. And the most important, they are strong enough to support the glass top, and silicone does not allow the glass to move. I only stumbled on the fastening to the surface. I didn’t want to drill, but self adhesive tape was not provided. Also, the control switch is not close enough to the end, so the had to loop it to make convenient location on the stand. All in all, for these kind of projects I recommend this product highly.

Best led lights! I was so tired of strip lights, they always went out and the light was never bright enough. For this price these lights are a no brainer. I love the adjustable brightness levels. So easy to turn on and off. Perfect for someone like me who just likes the bright white light, no need for other colors. I bought the 1 meter for my 24 inch monitor and the 2 meter for my 32 inch TV. The only thing is that the plastic holders suck so bad. I have another strip light holder brand that keeps the lights in place and stays on with adhesive. So keep that in mind!
