Unlike some comments mentioned it was made in France, the box says it was made in US.Manufacturing date is Oct 2019, consistent with what's provided by the seller.Though it does not have a gold strip, not all Shiseido products come with it. The print of the package, print of the bottle, and stamp of the lot# on the bottom of the bottle are all well made. Will continue to purchase from Amazon in the future for great discount when combined with Discover.

This cream does not help under eye wrinke at all. So I am going back to Beneficience although i don't like shining of skin looking like sweating. This may or may not work for lip area but hard to tell.
