Extremely well engineered and monumentally bright
I'd expect it to cost 4x this price. It's very robustly engineered from machined Aluminium, with a good grip and even an OLED status screen. The design is very intelligent, with 2 buttons, the top button controls a 10lumin white light and much brighter red light, that you'd normally use around a campsite or something. The back button is startling and turns day into night with a very long range. It kicks out so much light if you put your hand in front of it it's actually hot. The torch is safety locked from the factory. But once you have figured out the safety protocol (once only after you buy it) to unleash its might (press the button 4 times rapidly, it seems to stay unlocked. When you first see it on full brightness it will startle you. Doubly so at this price-point. I'd absolutely love the 200,000 Lumin version they sell to do a review. It must be absolutely mind-boggling! It's outstanding, just get it over any other torch out there by a long long way. UPDATE: After using it for an extended period, it's going to get quite toasty. This may or may not be comfortable at 6000 lumin, but on the up side the battery does last a long time, which is impressive.

Bright and Comfortable, But with Some Flaws
The IMALENT BL70 is undoubtedly an impressive torch. Its 6000-lumen brightness is incredible for its size, and the build quality is excellent. It feels great in hand—comfortable to hold and well-balanced, making it perfect for camping, hiking, or emergencies. The OLED display is a nice touch, giving it a modern, premium feel. However, there are three significant drawbacks that make me question whether I’ll keep it: The Lock Function The lock doesn’t engage automatically, meaning you have to remember to set it manually. On multiple occasions, I’ve taken it out of my pocket only to find it has switched itself on. This is particularly worrying on the highest setting, as it could easily melt your jacket or worse. This seems like a major oversight in the design and potentially dangerous. Display Functionality While the OLED display is sleek and clear, it only shows the remaining battery percentage. It’s such a missed opportunity not to display the estimated burn time for the current brightness setting. This would have been incredibly useful for planning how long the torch will last during activities. Beam Width The brightness is undoubtedly impressive, but the beam is extremely wide. This is great for lighting up large areas, but not ideal if you need to focus on something specific. It lacks a narrower beam option for more precise tasks, which can be frustrating in certain situations. Overall, while this torch excels in brightness and comfort, these issues—especially the manual lock—detract from its practicality and safety. If you’re someone who regularly forgets to engage the lock, you might find this torch more of a risk than a reliable tool. It’s a good product, but with some key improvements, it could be a great one. Not sure if i'll keep it or send it back yet as it's too expensive to have as a toy!

Great for night walks
Great brightness and fairly easy to use. The body is extremely high-quality and good size for leaving in my jacket pocket however the battery life could use some improvement and the strap that comes with it needs some reinforcement other than that this is the best torch I have ever used, it is a perfectly functional torch great value for money in my opinion

Bright for a minute
Yes...but it gets really hot after a minute in the high setting. So, if you go for a walk, you have to keep it at a low setting. And then it is the same brightness as a £7 torch – so why pay that price??

The best EDC torch on the market right now
This is, in my opinion, the “big” (tiny in size though!) daddy of edc torches. It is built like a tank but has a lovely leather grip, has multiple settings for different brightness levels, red light including strobe and is also lockable to prevent accidental use. This BL70, like its little brother BL50, has an OLED display to let you know what settings is engaged and battery use in real time which is handy to have and is very rare on other EDC torches. The USB C charging port is nicely concealed and overall I have no complaints to report. I’d definitely recommend this tiny “beast” over the likes of Olight, Wuben, Nitecore and Sofrin at similar costs. It’s a proper tool i would happily carry on me at all times.

Excellent little powerhouse that fits in your pocket
This is an absolute powerhouse in a tiny little package! It can do 6000 lumens and has instant low mode and red mode for not ruining your night vision if you want the power of a big torch in your pocket then this is the one for you. I took it on a 3 mile night hike and took some beamshots and a little video :)
