Good Handling & Grip
This RC car is a blast, It handles turns way better than others I’ve tried. Its super smooth and responsive, even at full speed. It’s tough, handles rough terrain well, and the waterproofing is a nice bonus. Battery life is solid, giving about 30 minutes of fun. For the price, it’s an awesome all-terrain RC car

Rugged and great toy
I recently bought the SIMREX 1/16 Scale Hobby RC Car for my child, and it’s been a total hit! This little truck is incredibly fast, reaching speeds of 36 KPH, and its 4WD makes it perfect for all kinds of terrain. Whether it's racing across the backyard or zooming over dirt and gravel, my child has had so much fun putting it to the test. The 2.4 GHz remote control is easy to use, and even though it’s speedy, it’s simple for my child to control. The all-terrain design means it can handle rough surfaces without skipping a beat, and it’s built tough enough to survive a few crashes. It's the perfect size for both indoor and outdoor play, and I love that it keeps my child entertained for hours. Overall, it’s been a fantastic addition to our collection of toys—fun, durable, and a great way to encourage outdoor play!

High quality, fast off-road RC!
Overall, the Simrex truck is awesome. It is nice to find an RC car that is out of the “toy” category and can actually perform off-road, through grass, up steep hills, and still rip around the neighborhood. I haven’t found anything in this price range that is as capable. My 9-yr-old loves it and can control it quite easily. Good for kids and adults. We keep the Throttle trim full down most of the time (lowest level) as this extends the battery life significantly and makes it easier to control in tight spaces or indoors. It’s easy to access the internal components and battery charging is simple.Setup tip: The documentation talks about needing to connect and LED light bar, however this model came connected for me. All I had to was plug in the battery to the main harness and that was it. Charge and drive. The RC auto pairs on power up and no issues with it all.Durability: We’ve had quite a few crashed and this thing keeps on going. Time will tell and I will update the review if there are issues down the road. My biggest concern is accessibility to repair parts. TBD.Great car, value, and a ton of fun!

Fast, Fun, and Built to Last
This little car zips around quickly, making it super fun to drive. It handles different surfaces like a champ, so whether I'm racing it on the driveway or taking it off-road in the yard, it performs great. The controls are easy to use, making it perfect for both kids and adults. Plus, it's built tough—I’ve had a few crashes, and it's still going strong. If you're looking for a fun, durable RC car that delivers excitement, this is a fantastic choice.

Good value, toy grade RC
The adult child in me loved this. Decent size, 4WD, fast. The plastic used looks solid with metal reinforcement, should take some abuse B4 breaking. Nice details like hinged body, driving lights, oversized tires and a motor heat sink! Ball bearings in the hubs and CV style axle shafts are all quality features. Li-ion battery (shown next to a std Li-po) had good run time (sorry, I didn't record) and was faster than this size car could handle. But now the negative. The shocks are simple plastic on plastic with no internal seals. So you can't add oil and grease would attract dirt and accelerate the wear. Oil filled aluminum shocks are available and would improve driving stability and be much longer lasting but than I would end up substituting a brushless motor, esc and receiver. These two things would move this to a hobby grade RC but would easily double the cost? In the end, it's a good toy grade RC that will likely wear out B4 it breaks. A good first RC for any age.

Really Fast and Really Fun
I got this for my son for Christmas and he really loves it! I was amazed by how fast and powerful this little car is. We tried it out first indoors and it was almost too fast for driving around the house. If you try it make sure you turn the throttle adjustment on the remote all the way down and be very light on the throttle trigger. When we took it outside we turned the throttle back up and the motor has so much torque the car wants to do a wheelie when you first hit the throttle. It' also incredibly stable when it hits rough or uneven terrain. The big wheels have plenty of grip. It had just rained the night before and the ground was still wet, but the car handled it no problem. The product is listed for ages 14+, which I think is a good recommendation. My son is 9 and so he drives it with supervision. It took him a little while to get the hang of it but he can drive it pretty well now without much help. For younger kids I really recommend keeping an eye on them to make sure it stays away from roads and they don't crash it into obstacles. The battery takes awhile to charge. I'd say like an hour or two but may depend on how much current your USB port provides. The battery life is really good once it's charged. I think the instructions said to expect like 12 or 15 minutes of life, but it seemed like we were getting closer to like 30 minutes.Keep in mind that the car is probably going to get pretty dirty. When the ground was a bit wet there was all kinds of wet grass and stuff that stuck to it. It's pretty easy to clean and I found you can clean it pretty easily with the brush attachment of the vacuum cleaner. It also comes with a little hex tool that you can use to easily remove the wheels from the axles, so you can wash them off and clear off any grass or other material that gets wound around the axles. This has been a really fun gift for my son and he's really excited to get outside and play with it more when the weather warms up.
