Appears secondhand and possibly missing pieces
Arrived in a damaged box that looks like it had water damage where it was sealed along the sides. When counting the puzzle pieces before starting I found the box contained 1026 pieces, not 1000, and I definitely saw the same piece twice. Doesn't fill me with confidence that all the pieces are here to complete, as I didn't spot all the faces I'd expect to see when counting so seems a mish-mash of spare pieces. Very unhappy.

Arrived with damaged box- looks as though it’s been used before and possibly second hand or a returned item. Can’t give this as a gift to someone
