Since having the carpet removed from the second floor of our home, I could hear EVERYTHING. I'm a psychotherapist and work fully remote from home. I kept looking for acoustic panels that were good quality, lowered sound disturbance, and were also aesthetically pleasing. These panels did not disappoint! All my clients, classmates, and professors noticed I changed my wall. It gives me the confidence that everything is confidential and cute, like it's supposed to be! These panels were easy to install. The self-adhesive is secure and ready to apply to each. I created a pattern beforehand and numbered them so I wouldn't mess up. Hubby helped measure and cut the bottom panels, and measured the area for the outlet towards the bottom of the wall. I highly recommend purchasing these. No weird smell either.

I was mildly disappointed when I first opened the box and saw that the vividness and the deep black levels were not as shown in the listing pictures, but, the toned-down colors still give it a dream-like quality that works well in an abstract piece such as this, so it’s a forgivable offense. However, seller, if you are reading this, please don’t tweak the pictures and just show exactly what you are selling. That aside, this was exactly the eclectic style of artwork I wanted for my home office and I’m very happy with the appearance and quality of these panels. The stated size is 12 x 16, but they are actually a bit smaller at 11-7/8 x 15-3/4. Not a real big deal, but I just wanted to note that for those who like dealing with exact numbers like I do. I did not buy these for any sound absorption qualities they may or may not possess, it was just for the appearance. I did see some mention of the adhesive dots not sticking well, but I had no such problem. In fact, I had to remove and reset the first panel because it was up a little higher than I intended, and it took a large putty knife and a bit of force to pry it off the wall. Spacing or not spacing the panels is a personal preference, but I decided to go with spaces because it creates the illusion of viewing the scene through the muntins of a window, which I think is kind of cool. For those who want to space their panels, the super easy way to a flawless installation is to make a perfectly square T-shape tool out of wood with the desired spacing thickness (I made mine from some MDF scraps at 1/2-inch thickness). It doesn’t matter which panel you start the installation with as long as it is set level, then it's just a simple matter of using the tool to mount the other panels. It was a rapid-fire install after I mounted my first panel, and I actually spent more time removing the fiddly backing from the adhesive dots than anything else.

I cannot rave about this product more! It turned out beautiful! Looks like a swanky hotel room now! The weight of them is light, figuring out what pattern you want is the only tricky part. But it was fun to design it! Was easy to cut either with sharp scissors or a utility knife. There was no smell in our four packages. I know others had said something about it but we didn’t experience a smell. They are felt like, but sturdy enough to work with. We chose to use a finish nailer instead of the sticky pads to adhere it to the wall. Worked fast and looks great. Just keep the finish nails in the grooves and not on the raised part or it shows and makes an indention. Didn’t notice any sound difference to be honest, but I bet it would help if it was on a ceiling or in a room without a large rug (like we have) Would highly recommend this product!

The gold isn't as shimmery and golden as pictured. But after install, I'm really pleased with the design - modern and peaceful. And these work well for acoustic dampening reducing some noise from splashing around my walls.

I bought these acoustic wall panels, and besides liking how my wall looks with them, they've stopped the TV noise and conversations coming from my daughter's room. Now I sleep more peacefully and without noises disturbing my sleep. The wall separating our rooms looks very nice, and they're easy to install with a very strong adhesive.

I bought these Acoustical Wall Panels hoping they’d help cut down echo and noise in my office — and yeah, they look nice, but that’s about where the good news ends. The sound absorption is barely noticeable. I still hear the same echo in my room, and honestly, a few thick blankets probably would’ve done a better job. The adhesive strips they came with were weak — half the panels fell off the wall within a week. For something marketed as “decorative acoustic wall art,” I expected better quality and durability. The foam feels thin and cheap, not like true studio-grade acoustic material. Sure, the Arcadian Vortex design is eye-catching, but if you’re buying this for actual soundproofing or acoustic improvement, save your money. It’s more decoration than function.

To say these are gorgeous is an understatement. Easy to install, recommend using either a second glue or a brad nailer. I’m absolutely in love with it. I will say, only order exactly what you need. I ordered extra incase I made a mistake, and the return process has been an absolute nightmare.

Great value, such a good find compared to other similar products in terms of price. We added wooden beading to act as a frame, looks like a really expensive piece of art now 😁
