Fits perfectly on my Remington 870 shotgun you do have to persuade it so the pins will line up the holes on the actual mount itself, but by doing it that way it keeps it nice and snug and hopefully it should keep zero very well I have not tested it out yet with a red dot. I do appreciate that you can still use the bead sight.

It dose not fit the 1100 Remington semi auto shotgun I had to cut it where the slide would go all the way back so yall might want to warn other customers about that

Works perfectly. If you want to put an optic on your Remington 870 without having to go to a gunsmith to drill slots install a Picatinny rail, this is the way to go. Also, having a static attachment for shells on the side is nice. Well worth the purchase.

This is a good option for mounting an optic on a Remington 870 shotgun. It also has the benefit of a 6 round shell holder on the left side of the receiver. Very convenient. Construction is high-quality aluminum. Once mounted, this rail fits very snugly with no detectable wiggle or flex. Note that you may need to sand down the replacement threaded receiver pins to remove the paint/powdercoat in order for them to fit into the holes in the receiver plate properly. I also beveled the edge of the pins so they would guide into the holes more easily. All of this was necessary in my case to avoid forcing the pins into the holes and possibly damaging the receiver.

Really nice made rail, have a h&r pardner (870 clone) I was able to get 3 of the 4 bolts on, the last one stripped. Functions well to carry extra rounds and able to add red dot

Perfect fit on my old Remington 870 dove gun. My eyes are old and needed an optic. This did the trick. I put a Monstrum Ares dot on this base. Removable side saddle shell holder is a nice plus.
