I thought that this was a lovely figurine. The photos on the listing are a very good likeness and what you see is what you will get – it looks roughly hewn but the finish is smooth – it is very simple and not fussy. It struck a chord with me being a mother to two sons, grown up now, but it was very meaningful and makes it more than just another ornament. I would have been delighted if either of my son’s had presented me with this as a gift.

I believe any Mother would love receiving this from her son....hint hint Mother's Day...this is a beautiful statue representing a mother and son, I have it next to my absolute favorite picture of my son and I. I will cherish this, it reminds me of the innocence of his younger years. They do grow up too fast.
