I set up this headboard 7 months ago. It is holding up very well. Everything still looks brand new. We don’t use the LED lights in it because they are bright when sitting in bed, but the outlet with usb ports in the middle is a really nice touch. I would say it’s worth it. It wasn’t too hard to put together. Took some time but everything made sense and it had all of the pieces and extra.

Love this headboard! Not only is it sturdy but is so nice looking. It was really easy to put together. Absolute value for the money and all the hardware was there. Love that it came with hardware to attach to the wall, so it does not tip. King size was perfect for the new adjustable bed I just got. It was also cool it came with two lights on either side of the headboard.

Bought a king size headboard to fit along side daughter's twin xl dorm bed and it fit perfect. Great for adding storage that doesn't take up too much space. Added perk; we were able to store extra items underneath the headboard since it created an empty area. She loved the built in lights and outlets too. It took about an hr to build.

My fiancé and I recently purchased a Sleep Number Bed and needed a new headboard. We searched high and low until we found the perfect one. This stand alone headboard was extremely easy to build. With two people it would take less than an hour but my fiancé built it by himself within 1.5 hours. I love the dim feature of the lights on each side and the shelving system have been so useful that now we barely even use the bedside tables. The bed frame size fit impeccably with our king sized bed. The appearance is also really nice and sleek. For the cost, it was more than what we could ask for and is definitely a value for the money.

Setup was easy enough but the manual is very small and can be hard to read. There is a lot of flipping and shifting the pieces around while setting it up. It did come with some scratches. The box came with appropriate padding but I'm not sure if the box was too big because the Styrofoam padding had shifted down all to one end inside the box and hadn't protected the other end. The biggest issue is that the light wall plug in came with a burned spot and exposed wiring that I do not feel comfortable plugging in or using. I’m still going to keep the headboard, but it’s definitely a disappointment to not be able to actually use the lights.
