Very hard to open in cold weather
I purchased this canister couple years back and used it on numerous backpacking trips in California. I find it very hard to open trying to hold the canister body while twisting the lid and pushing in the two plastic stubs. I actually have to use my swiss army knife to push the plastic stubs in and that seems to do the job. However, on number of occasions when the weather was colder overnight, and some frost collected on the canister, opening it up by myself was impassable. It seemed like the difference in temperature expanded the two types of plastic? It literally locks it in. It took couple of us working on it as a team to open it before I could get to my morning coffee...basically a disaster ;) I am now investing in a canister from wild ideas, it's more expensive, but I have seen it being used on number of trips and there's no double it functions much better.
