I had a compendium set with backgammon as a child, and I have always loved playing this game.This is a nicely made backgammon set that would make a nice gift for someone that loves to play. It is covered with faux leather so it has a luxurious look to itIt isn’t huge, at 11 inches (approximately 28cm), but it will make a great travel version as it will fit nicely into a suitcase or for us to keep in our caravan.Everything fits nicely inside the board; the counters and the dice cup are a good quality and look good together with the board. I have no complaints with this board.

Simple backgammon set that is fully featured.Has dice cups, a doubling cube, etc.It tidies away conveniently.But the annoying drawback is that the "points" are sewn onto the board, so that if you're playing the counters "rest" on them rather than sitting flat.Not incredibly stable - so and jogs or jolts can knock them about, and that makes the set particularly unsuitable as a travel game.Which is a shame, as the case layout is nice and would otherwise be good for that.It's a bit expensive for something so simple, though.

Good classic board game, the package is great, very well made, compact and good fun to play with all the family.

Smart looking backgammon set in a convenient carry case which closes securely with two clasps. Outer case is made of a synthetic leather material which is wipe clean, the inside is lined with a grey felt with the board markings stitched in made from the same leather type material. While aesthetically it looks the part I'm not a fan as the leather markings cause a raised lip at the edge of the material, too easy to catch the checkers on the edges of the leather. Much prefer a flat wooden surface with markings printed on. Dice cups, dice and checkers are all fine and it comes with basic instructions printed on a small sheet. Consider alternative tutorials should you be unfamiliar with the game. Well enough made, looks the part but I've played on better sets costing the same.
