These little balls of yarn are cute, but to make anything you will have to use all the colors for one project. I bought this yarn set for my daughter as a gift, so I am sure she will be fine with it. But, just know they won’t make much. The colors are vibrant and were packaged well. I can’t say if the yarn itself is quality.

Ball size:I only needed enough yarn to make three hearts in each of the shown colors. I wasn't about to pay for a huge skein of yarn so I looked around for some yarn bundles and found these.They are absolutely petite, small project sized.Thickness:The yarn thickness is closer midway between lightweight and medium.Texture: It is softer than basic Red Heart, but not as soft as Baby yarn.Hook size:I am using both a size 5 and a size 5.5 hook and both work perfectly. I doubt I could go up to a 6 with this yarn though.Absolutely could go smaller if you need to. Probably a 4 would be as small as easily possible.Quality:It is strong, (pull wise). It does unravel ever so slightly when I undoo a stitch to many times. I hardly ever use patterns, so I tend to undo my stitches often as I am forming a desired shapeIt's probably perfect for anyone else.I still give it 5 stars, since it's not the yarns fault I have to pull my stitches out often.

Item was good but it was delivered and left behind a trash can and not received by a person in the warehouse as was stated. Just need to pay attention to delivery preferences as it is important items are received by the logistics department here.

Made a quilt that needs a few ties. Didn't need an abundance of yarn, just enough to tie the quilt. The plus side is that I didn't need to purchase multiple full skeins of yarn that I would never need/use. This is exactly what I needed. Colors are vibrant, matching the multiple colors in the quilt. Happy to have found this collection.

I volunteered to teach crochet to my son's 2nd grade class and I wanted to provide all the necessary supplies so the students would be able to take them home and continue practicing outside of class. I had intended to go through my home stash of yarn, but given the diversity in the class I thought it would be better to have a wide range of colors for the students to choose from. This set was the PERFECT solution! The yarn is high enough quality that it's easy for the kids to work with but cheap enough that it won't break the bank. The colors are bright and vibrant and the kids really love being able to choose a few colors they love. The skeins are small, but just the right size for a small beginner project (we're doing bracelets). Unless you do complex amigurumi where you need a tiny amount of a lot of different colors, I don't see this being practical for everyday use, but for learning you really can't beat the deal.

It is 430 Yards ALTOGETHER. They are very small balls of yarn which I did not read up on in the description all the way, so that's on me. Perfect for small crochet projects. Cute little yarn balls. Love them
