Shark Pet Power Brush [3259FL680EU-UK] Official Accessory Compatible with Shark Upright Vacuum Cleaners, Grey

I mainly use this attachment for hoovering up the stairs or hard to reach areas and under cushions . It has a great suction and brushes rotate to pick up hair and debris. It doesn’t have anti hair wrap but de-tangling is easy but a little fiddly with a pair of scissors as the cover is easy to open up.

It says it’s “powered” so that means electrical power using the power connectors on the main shark handle connector. That’s why I thought shark are good as connectors can be powered. But it’s not “powered” by electricity. It’s powered by the suction. So it does slow down and stop sometimes. Nevertheless it did go a very good job with pet hair, much better than the other hand held attachments so am still pleased with it. I just wonder whehtger it would be better if it was truly powered.

This seems to be a genuine Shark product. It is a well made and does the job it is supposed to. It works well and is fit for purpose. It works like a smaller version of the main brush unit. A belt drives the brush. The suction is not as good as the main brush unit, but this is to be expected as the head is inevitably a greater distance from the motor. The brush head does not swivel or bend so it is necessary to position the head in the angle you want. I bought it for cleaning stairs and smaller spaces hard to reach with the main brush unit and it is perfectly adequate. It's a pity this doesn't come as a standard included accessory, but it's worth £20 or so as the other accessories aren't adequate for cleaning stairs and the like. I recommend.

I was looking at buying a handheld vacuum cleaner for my sofas, then I saw this for my Shark vacuum cleaner, it works very well and you don't have restricted running time like you would with a rechargeable handheld vacuum cleaner. I would definitely recommend this.

Having bought our new Shark upright we were impressed yet dismayed that hoovering the stairs with it was as much as a chore as using our old Henry. The idea of the shark is the dust tank lifts away from the main unit and makes things like stairs much more convenient to clean. We found however that the tools that came with it were not effective in picking up the bits easily. Saw the reviews on this attachment and took the plunge . It is like a mini version of the main head so picks up the bits on the stairs with minimal effort but it is important you set the control to hard floors and not carpet mode. It just works much better that way . Worth the money for a job made easier.

Looks nice. But when u use it. The. Brush. Stops. So it's not. Good to get the hair out.

I wrote the below review a couple of years ago. What I was sent this time ounce is not the same item. I ordered it as a replacement as I’ve misplaced the other one. The old model plugged into the power socket on the wand. New model doesn’t. It relies on the suction making a turbine spin. The turbine doesn’t spin at all, so all I’m doing is moving dust around. Not fit for purpose Works like a charm and much cheaper to buy add-ons like this compared to vacuums I've bought before. It's easy to clean the stairs with the little and this rather than having to try and stretch the hose

I purchased this item because I thought it would be useful for getting the pet hair from the stair carpet. I looked at the reviews and saw a mix of reviews. The roller did stop spinning after the first use as someone had put in their review. I took the head apart and lubricated the rubber bushes and this cured the issue. This has to be done about once a month to keep it spinning. Overall this is a handy tool and yes there are a few maintenance items to keep it working as it should but I am happy with it otherwise.

This goes on the end of our new Shark upright vacuum. It works great for cleaning carpet on the stairs and tight areas. I would buy it again.

Impressive!! It truly lives up to it's name. It picks up pet hair/dander - along with anything else - very effectively!!

Great addition to my shark vacuum. Picks up pet hair great. Also use it on carpeted steps. Saves the old back from having to use the larger brushroll.

Found very handy for small places

This attachment is WONDERFUL on stairs, but not as effective for my couch. I have an upholstered couch and the cat hair tends to stick on/in the material well. The brush does suction and rustle up some of the hair, but a majority of it is unmoved. I was hoping the brush would be more aggressive with it, but I guess I will continue my search. Overall, it is a good attachment that I will be keeping and using on the stairs and for car cleaning.
