Color Club Halographic Hues Nail Polish, Beyond, .05 Ounce

The "shimmering sky colors" is like a holo electric sky blue and it's hands down my new fave nail polish. Applies smooth, one coat, has good staying power, doesn't smudge or smear under taco with designs. If I can't pick what to wear, I wear shimmering sky colors. The color club beyond I was also expecting to be blown away by but it's not really black. It's like dark gray. I was really disappointed. No, the holo didn't make it brighter, the base is honestly just dark gray. The "beyond" also needed two coats to look it's best. Not a single coat like "shimmering sky colors", but two coats is still great for nail polish. Most of my other polishes needs 3-5 coats (cough cough lookin' at you kleancolor). It's still pretty af and it's great quality so I'm not going to knock off a star, but caveat emptor. tl;dr: really top quality nail polish; gorgeous linear holo. but the black is more dark gray than the photo.

Thanks to Simplynaillogical on YouTube, I realized I was a holosexual 😂 (If you love this nail polish or nail tutorials check her out). But anyway since watching her, I really wanted a holo nail polish and this one is absolutely amazing! I got it in the color Beyond. I was expecting a black color but it really is more of a dark grey but that's fine with me. When not in direct light, it looks like a grey glitter nail polish. When put in direct light, it's gorgeous! The specks of holo shift colors in the light and it's amazing. It's also super easy to put on! It's super opaque so you honestly only need one coat, I put 2 on just cause. I'm really glad I got this nail polish and I'd say it's totally worth it! The picture included is with the flash on so you can see the holo change colors. (It was taken shortly after I painted them so that's why it looks a little messy).

This one has good coverage and dries quickly. The color shift doesn't show 'til the second coat, and while a third coat enhanced it a little further I don't feel a third coat is absolutely necessary. I like the brush shape, it's easy to control and I didn't end up with polish all over my skin. Though it has a nice shine, I tried a (different brand) clear topcoat on one hand- which erased the color-shift effect. The polish on both hands lasted through six days of ordinary housework without gloves. My topcoat is one that I know is long-lasting, which says a lot for Color Club's staying power. The first chip was my own fault - I know better than to use my nails to open a can.

I love this polish! The holographic glitter is amazing in sunlight, it is very flashy and, in this case, there is no single color preference for the glitter, it flashes the full rainbow of colors. However i find it odd that it is described as "dark brown" because it isn't--it is definitely black with kind of a strong silver glitter (in regular lighting, as said, in the sun it has that rainbow effect along with the silver). It lasted a good while and went on smoothly and evenly and was a full cover in just two coats. I totally recommend this.

I was worried because the image for this item was poor quality - it showed no holo reflects at all which is the entire point of this polish. I was happy to see that my worries were for nothing. This polish is beautiful, fast drying and a perfect consistency for me. In the images I have added to this review, I took an opportunity to show off one of the clear sides of the bottle (no logo) just to emphasize the holo quality of the polish in indirect light just in case anybody else was worried about the same thing I was. Shipping was good, it arrived on time and neatly packaged. Over all very happy with this purchase.

So it came within two days, so like a week earlier than I expected! The day I ordered it I realized I didn't fully read the title and notice it said brown and I was kinda upset cause I thought it was silver; anyways that was my own fault so no biggie. I was surprised to see it In the mail so fast and when I opened it I was in love! It's not brown at all, it's more of a charcoal black and looks beautiful in the sunlight! It's very rainbow holographic and it's my new favorite! In the house it's more just sparkly black grey but still looks great! I'm happy I ordered the wrong color lol (
