Fantastic cables with excellent speed and solid build
We live in the boonies and had dsl until recently, poorly maintained and never upgraded. They were the only game in town so we were stuck with it and my Cat6 cables were probably overkill for their equipment. When our electric co-op brought fiber optic to our itty bitty town we jumped on it. The increase in speed was amazing. I was told my Cat6 cables were perfect and I didn't need to upgrade them. When I saw this cable I thought, why not see if we can do better. Let's get every bit of speed that's coming in. I don't have all the specs or knowledge that some of the reviewers here have but I appreciate their facts back up what I've experienced. My system is faster. Quite a bit faster. Page loading is instant. It felt like it was back to the speed I had before installing an antivirus program. I'm thrilled with that. I use my laptop as a desktop and have it on a swivel (think lazy susan). The connection holds well and hasn't hinted at breaking the little tab. The connector ends feel like they're a much better quality than any I've bought before and the cable itself is nice and thick, doesn't want to coil on itself and straightened nicely to run through a chase along the baseboard. After ordering the first one through the Vine program I bought another for a second computer. I couldn't be happier with these cables.

Good Cable.
Good quality cable, only miner issue I had, Orange white and brown white wire are looks pretty similar when you untangled.

24g Cat 7
It is double Shielded Cat 7 but it is 24G wire not 23g. For normal uses it would work fine. If you require 23g for a specific reason, you may need something else.

Durable, good value
This a very very durable cable with great stats on latency and clear signal. Clips are study and clips are easy to handle but stiff enough to withstand gravity over time.

10G Performance - Delivered!
I can comment on everything but the waterproof factor, I'm using this cable indoors. I've recently gone to 10G on my network (at least directly off the core). I had no issues moving data between a 10G NIC on a worktation and my QNap NAS. That is my most common use case and I typically achieve just shy of 5G throughput (writing to RAID arrays of HDDs). In some limiting testing between two machines with 10G NICs and high speed NVMe storage I was right where you wanted to be for 10G. Excellent cable, I have no reservations. My recommendation - buy shielded cables when you can. They aren't that much more and elminating the possiblity of interference is very important. This cable is highly flexible, the jacks/jackets are well made, and it delivers the speed you would expect. Highly recommended!

Good patch cable, working solidly at 10 Gbps in Microtik/QNAP setup
The build quality for this cable looks good, the connectors look well built and with good protection for the cable where it enters the housing. They clip in securely with no wobbles or loose fit, and are easy to remove cleanly (no fiddling with the connector). The cable I have is currently working at 10 Gbps between a Microtik switch (Flypro RJ45 transceiver to SFP+ port), and a QNAP NAS. Activity began immediately when the cable was plugged in, and monitoring the switch reports no errors or retransmissions in several hours, while regular fairly intensive file transfer activity is proceeding with no difference in speed that I can detect. Based on this I'm happy leaving this cable installed or using it as a test cable. The only issue that I can see to look out for long term is whether the connectors hold up to repeated insertion/removal, which is the same for any cable. Overall it merits 5/5 so far, I will update the review if anything changes. I would be happy to recommend or use more of these cables in the future.

NOT CAT7, NOT FOR DIRECT BURIAL
I purchased the 100-meter (328-feet) bulk coil of this product. The claims made in the product description are so inaccurate that they can only be considered FRAUDULENT. How is it even possible that it is being sold by Amazon? First, it is claimed that this wire is rated as CAT7. IT IS NOT CAT7. A CAT7 cable should handle a bandwidth of 600 MHz and a transmission speed of 10 Gbps. Not only does this cable not come close to meeting these specifications, it ALSO FAILS TO MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR CAT6A, CAT6, AND CAT5E! THIS IS A CAT5 CABLE, that has a maximum transmission speed of 100 Mbps and a maximum bandwidth of 100 MHz. After failing to meet the CAT7 standards at 100 meters (328 feet), I also tested it at other distances, down to 15 meters (49 feet), and again it ONLY SATISFIED THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR CAT5! Second, it is claimed that this cable is suitable for direct burial. IT IS NOT CAPABLE OF BEING BURIED DIRECTLY IN THE GROUND. A direct-burial cable must have a tough outer jacket. Most direct-burial cables also have multiple layers of sheathing and are filled with a water-excluding substance. This cable has a flimsy single layer jacket that I could cut with my fingernail. There is no chance that it could survive for any length of time directly buried in the ground. Shame on Amazon for selling this overpriced, mislabeled garbage.

High Speeds and Excellent Shielding
This is a solid CAT7 cable. I like that the wire shielding on this cable is extra thick because of my application. I used this to run under my computer desk where there is power cables, and I believe it eliminated a substantial amount of interference that was robbing my internet speed. I was running a CAT6 cable of the same length with a much thinner jacket prior and in OpenSpeedTest the highest MBPS I achieved was 800 MBPS. After installing this new CAT7 cable I have consistently been over 950 MBPS. Bare in mind this may not be perfect for your application as the jacket on the cable is VERY beefy and could be an issue if you have a lot of cables in one spot or are running these in a tight space. The cable is pretty pricey for CAT7, but if you need the extra EMI protection in your application this works excellent and I would highly recommend it.

WHAT IS IT FOR? It's an Ethernet cable for wiring up your local network rather than relying on WiFi. It's CAT 7, so it can support very high speeds and it's shielded, so you're less likely to produce or suffer from RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) - but neither is likely to be important in a typical home environment. It won't make your network run faster, but it won't slow it down! The cable is waterproof (electrical cable usually is, because of the seamless PVC sheath), but the plugs aren't. HINT: Ethernet Cables are backwards compatible, so, for example, you can use a CAT 7 cable in a CAT 7, CAT 6, CAT 5, or CAT 4 network; higher numbers can go faster, but they don't have to. IN THE BAG In a simple Ziploc bag: * 10m CAT 7 Ethernet cable with standard termination (RJ45 plugs), in blue No silly packaging, perfect. USING OK, I have to say that I don't have a CAT 7 network - yet. So I don't NEED a CAT 7 patch cable. But Broadband speeds are climbing fast, it's starting to look like I might upgrade my Vodafone modem/router quite soon as they're running fibre past my door. In rural Shropshire! Crazy. Anyway, even though my main network is a mix of 1Gbps and 100Mbps segments, I can always use another patch cable; CAT 7 is backwards compatible with my existing devices and cabling. You plug it in and it works. Being CAT 7, it's shielded, so the cable is a bit stiffer and thicker than most, but that's unlikely to be an issue. I don't have a 10 Gbit system, so I can't test its bandwidth! The cable is waterproof apart from the plugs, so in principle you could run the cable outside. The cable is round in cross-section, so not ideal if you want to run cable under carpets or flat against the wall - buy flat cable! HINT: To keep things neat, buy cables that are just long enough to reach between your devices and/or use cable clips to nail them to the skirting boards or walls. BEST BITS + Well made, high speed cable + Screened to combat interference + Good, positive clips + 10 metre long + Future proof (for now) WORST BITS - nothing really - It's a bit thicker, a bit stiffer than my usual CAT5 cable - It's a bit dearer than my usual CAT5 cable CONCLUSION Excellent Ethernet cable, very nearly future-proof. Perfect unless you want to run cable under carpets. Five stars

I recently bought the 20m Cat7 High Speed Ethernet Cable to improve my home network setup. With multiple devices and increasing demand for high-speed internet, I needed a reliable solution to ensure consistent and fast connectivity throughout my home. The cable arrived neatly coiled and well-packaged. The first thing I noticed was its build quality. The shielding is robust, and the connectors are solidly constructed, giving me confidence that this cable will stand up to daily use and occasional movement without any issues. The 20m length is perfect for running from my router in the living room to my office upstairs, eliminating the need for WiFi extenders or repeaters. Setting up the cable was straightforward. The RJ45 connectors fit securely into my devices and router, and the connection was stable right from the start. The Cat7 specification and 600MHz frequency rating promised high speeds, and I was not disappointed. I consistently achieve speeds up to 10Gbps, which has made a noticeable difference in my internet performance, especially for activities like streaming 4K videos, online gaming, and large file transfers. One of the standout features is the shielding. The SFTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) design significantly reduces interference and crosstalk, which is crucial in my home where multiple electronic devices can sometimes cause signal issues. The 24AWG copper wires ensure that the signal quality remains high over the entire 20m length. I’ve also tested the cable with various devices, including a PC, smart TV, gaming console, and a network switch. In all cases, the performance was excellent, with no noticeable lag or drop in speed. This versatility makes it an ideal choice for a home or office network setup. However, there are a few minor points to be aware of. The cable is quite thick due to the shielding, which means it’s not as flexible as some thinner cables. This wasn’t a major issue for my setup, but it could be a consideration if you need to route the cable through tight spaces or around sharp corners. Additionally, while the black colour is neutral, it might be more noticeable against lighter walls or floors. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the Ethernet Cable. It’s a high-quality, reliable option that delivers excellent performance for all my networking needs. If you’re looking for a robust and fast Ethernet cable to enhance your home or office network, I highly recommend this one. It’s a worthy investment for ensuring stable and high-speed internet connectivity.
