If you're on the fence about adding a grip to your X100V—just grab this one. The SmallRig L-Shape Handgrip completely transforms how the camera handles, especially if you've got medium to large hands. It feels like it should’ve come with the camera. Handling: 10/10 Massive improvement. With this grip plus a thumb grip, the X100V finally feels secure and comfortable for long sessions or quick one-handed grabs. It’s perfect for street shooting and travel—makes walking around with the camera a joy instead of a juggle. Fit & Finish: 10/10 Zero movement, no looseness, and no interference with any controls. The build quality is solid and precise, and the silver finish matches the X100V like a factory part. Nothing looks tacked on or aftermarket. Extras: 9.5/10 The red soft shutter button is a fun touch that actually improves the feel of the shutter. Love that the tool for mounting is magnetically stashed in the grip itself—super clever and means you’ll never lose it. I didn’t need the hot shoe cover, but nice that these things were included. Overall: 10/10 This grip nails everything it needs to—comfort, style, and utility. If you're mostly shooting handheld or on the move, it’s a must-have. No cons to speak of—it just works and feels right.

I was looking at a few different grips for my X100vi on Amazon. This SmallRig one came out on top as some of the other ones were a metal or wooden grip, whereas this one is more of a rubbery grip giving extra texture for your fingers and matching the look of the camera almost exactly. It adds a little bit of height to the camera, but then you gain an Arca mount as well which is handy. The space between the grip and camera is minimal, but we'll see if over time the rubber changes shape/starts to separate from the camera body more, but hopefully not. Bottom line it feels and looks great on the camera if you find you need/want a little more of a hand grip on your X100vi. Very high quality and adds a unique look to an already unique camera.
